Luann, tell them that their lame scheme is a bust!!!

This is starting to get sad and uncomfortable…two unqualified sort-of friends ganging up on Luann in her own home, telling her she’s “boring and uninspired” and comparing her to a wormlike creature. I wish she’d either ask them to leave or firmly tell them she doesn’t want them to practice on her but ask them how they think this is going to work.

Oh, dear this is going on for another week. I’ll need a bottle in front of me to get through it.

Or a frontal lobotomy…. ;-(

So it is just a makeover. They’re stretching it by calling it rebranding. Girls, sorry, but that’s just a makeover you’re trying to sell for $500.

It can only happen in the comics. Normally those two would have been shown the door long before now.

On the other hand, this Silly “Brand X” foolishness just might work.

After all, it was a MAJOR improvement when Lu’s mom give her that makeover and changed her hair style years ago.

NO “short hair styles” and for God’s sake, NO (GAG) tattoo’s! ;-)

The phone on the tripod seems to be focused on Tiff, and not Luann. Why?

I hate to think that Tiff has regressed from a maturing young lady into another Stef!

O, Lordy, Lordy, this is a Saturday strip. This is going to carry over into next week. Maybe if we’re lucky, ir will be interrupted by by an arc with Nil and Berenice, or Sahannon, Toni, and Brad.

Please don’t overdo the makeup and frizz out her hair!!

So what’s their plan? Give Luann helmet hair and have her dress like a prostitute?

Sadly, I think this arc will be extended into next week.

I knew it was a makeover and still called it “BS” because it’s exactly what it is. Makeovers are only acceptable if the person who’s getting wants to do it on their own, it shouldn’t be called a “rebrand.” Luann should have walked away.

A larva on a blank slate, how enthralling!

I always thought Luann should get an apartment to share with Tara. Luann is more responsible and Tara is more adventurous. They might be a good influence on each other.

I can’t be the only one to think that this is the most boring story arc in the history of this strip………am I?

Wow. How bloody mean of them trash talking to Lu. Bets, is now my least favourite character, especially how she treated Gunther.

Maybe they can just take a picture of Luann wearing her puppet mask.

It’s true. Luann can be a real worm sometimes.

Im sorry but this whole story arc is sooo efing lame. I’m tired of these characters. What’s happening with Brad and his bride?

Luann will not be a pawn in your little scheme. Maybe you should get Bernice instead.

I can’t speak for anybody else to be sure but I lost interest in this Arc starting with the first panel. Something which has never happened since I first started reading Luann which was a long time ago.

Tiffany and Bets’ think to be helpful, but their attitude is awful! I’m happy that Luann decided to be the Beta test because I want to see what they’ll come up with for her, but if they had proposed it to Bernice exactly in this way, she would have insulted them and kicked them away. I hope that one of the aspects they decide to change in Luann is this excessive patience she has towards those who insult her. I thinks it’s not a sign of being a nice person, but a sign of low self-esteem.

As if these two self-serving borderline narcissists should be telling others how to be. I’m more attracted to those whose “brand” is being a good soul, like Luann.

We’ve been kept waiting for years for Luann to pupate!

When will this end?

Maybe they should just become the “Slogan Sisters”. They will make up slogans for whatever you are trying to push.

Run Luann. If you don’t then you won’t have a shred of dignity left by the time these two are done.

It’s been the exact…same…joke…every day this week.

It just metamorphosed into a larva.

It looks like they are going to stretch this nonsense into next week. Gaaah!

This reminds me of the late, great Stan Kelly-Bootle claim that ‘consultant’ derived from a portmanteau of ‘con’ and ‘insult’.

Wish she’d turn the tables on Bets and Tiff and tell them how they need to change THEIR lives.

I don’t think Luann is convinced, just curious. I hope they aren’t going to post any video of Luann. Tiffany still has her Kablooie uniform on. Bets has changed clothes several times since March 25, when Tiff last worked. Is she still going to work? Apparently this isn’t the same day.

Insult the potential customer some more. That is a good way to make sales. /s

It seemed to be late at night when this story started 2 or 3 weeks ago and Tiffany needed sleep before she had an 8 am class. But it is definitely not late at night if they are paying Luann a surprise visit and Tiffany seems to have lots of energy and forgot about her early class.

Get rid of this useless story line and write Betts out. Long past tine for her to go. Never liked her. She is fakey.

Maybe this is Greg’s way of taking Luann’s boring bla persona and doing a make over for her character, Much like he did to Bern after high school

I hate to say it but an ill-advised tattoo is a much more effective “brand” and you can also regret that for the rest of your life.

This has been a very annoying meta comment on the strip’s titular character.

If anyone needs a rebrand it’s Bets and Tiff. Don’t do it Luann.
