If Tiff or Bets were able to create a celebrity brand.. They would do it for themselves.

It’s like a homeless person trying to sell a How To Get Rich Quick book. It just doesn’t work.

So how will they change Luann? What will they brand her as?

These before / after ads are a load of hooey . . . especially the one time I saw such an informercial in which one of the before bodies was white, but the after body was black . . . so what, this product not only helped you lose weight, but also had the properties to completely change the pigment in your skin too?

No, no, no! not a third week!!!!!

Words fail me. Sadly they don’t fail Tiffany who’s backhanded compliments are … Let’s jist bless her littl’ heart and move on.

Something tells me Bets and Tiffany will not be acing their marketing course.

I would sure like a surprise – like something good comes out of this. It is time for Lu to shine – though it’s hard to imagine how Bets & Tiff can get her there.

Well Luann and Tiff have resumed their frenemy relationship for Bets to witness.

You see Luann’s facial expression? That is mine during this whole storyline…..Will it ever end???

Not only does Luann look irritated about being insulted, she is allowing it to happen. That is so unreal. I hope she doesn’t get a big head like the girl that Marsha Brady transformed. That was unreal, too, and just as irritating.

Luann should kick them to the curb ASAP!

So, who is Tiffany to call Luann a ‘nobody’??? Really!

This is going WAY beyond Dr. Fabbi’s original assignment.

And I’m getting the feeling that G& K are using this arc to “make-over” Luann. AGAIN.

The last time, things turned out pretty good.

But this time?

I’m getting the very unsettling feeling that the results will like the time a bunch of new producers (Who probably never watched a single Star Trek show or movie in their lives) got their hands on Star Trek: Discovery and decided it would be a “good idea” to change the Klingons. ;-)

Jeez, Tiff. Could you be any more insulting? I think Luann looks great in the “before” times. As to Tiff and Bets…they need a new wardrobe.

I hope that Bernice will enter the scene and prove herself a true friend to Luann by getting rid of those two phonies!!

I’m thinkin that when this is all done an over with, they’ll be better off playing the ‘’Before’ video as the ‘After’ video and the ‘After’ video as th ‘Before’ video.

I’m curious to see how this turns out, I hope it turns out well for Luann!

Wasn’t there enough set-up for this situation in the last couple of strips that this one could have skipped straight to the before and after videos?

Despite how harsh Bets and Tiffany’s words are, I’m really happy to see Luann be part of this group. Tiffany knows her since forever and has a list of Luann’s flaws to work on, discussing them with Bets. She will think about a new look while Bets will give Luann some coaching, making her more confident and able to respond when someone, like Bernice, insults her. By doing all of this, Tiffany might discover Luann’s dreams and aspirations and caring about her for the first time. But the most difficult thing will be to maintain the change.

What will be funny is, the clowns will push Luann through all of these hoops, only to reach the conclusion that Luann is perfect the way she is!

I’ve always felt LuAnne was more attractive than Tiff. I really wish Tiff would change her hair style.

I hope this is going to end soon with Luann telling these two twits to take a hike!

When does this end?

it seems Tiff is the one throwing out demeaning remarks at Luann, not so much Bets; remnants of their competitive abrasive relationship are still there; does Tiff want to make a real positive brand for Luann or just use her for the project. It’s hard to see exactly where this is going.

This arc is not only irritating, it is offensive.

Wow, so we’ve just started Week 5 of this. And yet I still get the feeling that the status quo will be unchanged by the end of the arc.

I hope there’s more to rebranding than a little facial touch up.

Bets has changed her clothes twice while Tiffany is still in her work uniform. How many days is she going to wear that?

I am not enjoying a thread that puts LuAnn or any of their peers down like this. Mocking them for who they are.

Other than a makeover, how else do you (re)brand somebody? You can’t turn an introvert into an extrovert, so this whole venture is pretty stupid.

They want her for a model. I wonder if they have any monetary reimbursement in mind.

(Just joking, we know they don’t.)

It is worth noting in this thing that they have been judging my beloved Luann all along and but for the most part keeping their mouth shut about it.

Another week of skipping this strip.

Why apply make-up, etc., to make the Luann look better in the “before” video??

And there’s more to a “brand” that appearance.

This is an awful storyline

This arc can’t end soon enough.

It really is sweet how Tiffany is fussing over Luann, it shows how she really feels about herself. When she was competing with Luann, she felt threatened by her somehow. Now she’s matured somewhat, she is more like a nurturing sibling, in a way.

Luann doesn’t need to ‘rebrand’ she may seem dull but there is a pleasantness about being dull that’s endearing in a way that Tiffany will never understand. If you find other people and their interests dull.. change yourself! Ha!

These two are congratulating themselves and each over over their combined efforts but I think the hilarity will be during their actual mak-over. They both have strong opinions and ideas on how things should look.. it’s going to get really interesting very soon.

I don’t know what’s more fun, the obvious pitfalls & hijinks that occur with Tiffany & Bets teaming up, or just watching the “In Crowd” on the Luann chatroom here go crazy constantly criticizing and analyzing their least favorite characters. I like this, kinda wonder what storyline is going to come next. Wonder if the writers aren’t having a bit of fun at the “In Crowd’s” expense! Stay tuned !

I am so frustrated with this arc and how long it is pointlessly dragging on. If this were Real Life someone would notice that Luann is Funny, Creative (a writer) and has great connectivity with kids (teaching experience). Build a brand on that, darn it. All this surface crap they are proposing is just that … crap.

I hope she doesn’t give her a perm like she did to Bernice! Bernice’s makeover became permanent with her permanent!

This story arc feels abusive and ugly. Leave Luann alone and get rid of Bets. She brings out the worst in people.
