correction: Arachnophobic turtle.

If I woke up and saw a spider anywhere on me, I would definitely set a land-speed record.

I totally feel that. When I have seen a big spider uncomfortably close to me, I have managed to pull off jumps and sprints that would impress superman.

I’m surprised that no one has a big hairy pet tarantula on this strip. It can stare back you with all eight eyes.

It was a Hopalong Cassidy movie at age six that lives with me still. Anyone remember that?

Don’t you just hate walking into and getting spider web in your face?

I’m with the turtle, I loathe spiders.

It happens to me a lot. I walk in the early morning. In the winter, it is dark. When you are the first one to walk under a low hanging branch since the night before you sometimes take a web in the face. This time of year, I can see and avoid.

All night last night a big spider spun a web across our front porch. The glint from the infrared light on the web kept setting off the alert.

Turtles are aerodynamic!

Spiders don’t bother me – roaches on the other hand… They always charge straight to me at full speed like I’m santa clause or a suicide bomber. I end up tossing Boric Acid like an exorcist trying to purify an evil spirit.

turtles & many tortoises would just eat the spider.

I have that problem a spider keeps building a web over my patio door.

LMAO! This almost happened to me a few nights ago. That thing was huge but the web was so beautiful I was glad I didn’t screw it up.

Ir’s stronger than steel … remind me again never to put my finger in a turtle’s mouth.

I haven’t laughed heartily at B.C. in a while… but that was a funny one today! :-D

Should have run into Fat Broad’s cave. A reptile and a spider? The ensuing chaos would have come close to the giant asteroid.

That was me this afternoon after wrangling a snake into a position where I could get the clippers on him and run him way outside before releasing him and running away just as fast. It was a harmless black snake but still didn’t want to get bit. I need to get off of this farm. That’s the one per year I get, but with this heat, I might get a 2nd one. :(

Door looks like it has a Halloween decoration.

I would have thought there would be an empty shell with a big hole where he crashed out the back.

Look up the “Cambrian Explosion”, and creatures such as “Marrella” and “Opabinia”.

Spiders are my friends. They eat mosquitos and other pesky bugs.
