The vast majority of Jumble puzzles that I have worked were weekday puzzles unscrambling words with 5 or 6 letters. “Nuanced” is 7 letters. Is there a Sunday Jumble that uses 7 letter words?
My mom did those for years and years and mailed them in to the newspaper. It was a diversion for her and she enjoyed it. She actually won a couple of times , though I don’t think it was very much.

I miss doing the Jumble. I was doing it every day until the site I did it on decided to make you pay for it. Does anyone know of any free sites?

Tomorrow: Ed turns to the pollinator report in the gardening section, or as he calls it, the Bumble.
On Tuesday, he reads the sports section article about football, or as he calls it, the Fumble.
On Wednesday, we see him read the editorial page, which he calls the Grumble.
Thursday’s paper is about the Centerville Marathon, also known as the Stumble.
On Friday, Ed reads the baking section article about cookies, the Crumble.
On Saturday, we all look back at the week of strips and call it the Dumble.

Not to nitpick, but nuanced is a 7-letter word. It would never appear in a Jumble, as it uses only 5- and 6-letter words.

It’s funny because Crankshaft is a sociopath who won’t call things by their proper name!

I see Batiuk and Davis “Jumbled” their names in the title panel.

Hey, if you look closely at Panel 3, it looks like Davis finally drew a bridge on Crankshaft’s glasses!
