As long as he doesn’t vote for the convicted criminal rapist, racist, bigoted, sexist, anti-American insurrectionist who hates the military and is so old and befuddled that he can’t string coherent sentences together, we’ll be okay (and his Depends diaper smells)
There’s a clear choice. One candidate wants to make things better for the majority of us, the ones who don’t have it so good. The other candidate only wants to make things better for the ones who already have it pretty darn good.
Goat is the pretentious phony who is acts like he is wants “greater good” but he is really a dictatorial mindset who is want to suppressing others rights to votes by being in favour of voter suppression.
At least Rat is honest and he ain’t pretentious and is clearly states what he is really wants.
Rational voters do not vote for or against “people.” They vote for or against “policies.” The best evidence of “policies” does not come from what politicians say, but from their histories. Are you better off now than you were four years ago?
But the candidate on the right IS suppressing the vote.
Yesterday an injunction was allowed to delay the mailing of absentee ballots in this state (that were supposed to start going out yesterday) until an appeal of the ruling against RFK to remove his name ballot.
As this state also has several military installations with deployments oversees, the service men and women defending our American way of life are being deprived of their right to vote.
I can’t tell what is worst: people who vote against their self-interest, or for them. Also it would be an improvement to not be voting to reward egotism.
This election isn’t about choosing one who might be a philanthropist or not. It is about if we continue to have a democratic-republic or not. The government our Founders gave us, the best in mankind’s history, is threatened and needs to be saved.
“Suddenly I’m in favor of voter suppression”. Speaking of which, the party that is currently campaigning on trying to “save democracy” just successfully completed legal action to keep the Green party off the presidential ballot in Nevada on a technicality[*], because they knew that people voting for the Green candidate would have cut into the number of votes Democrats would get. So much for the will of the voters.
[*] The technicality was that the Green party had asked the Secretary of State what wording they needed to use on their petitions to get on the ballot. The (Democrat) SoS told them the wrong wording, which the Greens dutifully used. Then once the Green party had spent months acquiring the sufficient number of signatures, the Democrats went to court saying, “hey, none of those signatures count because it wasn’t exactly the necessary wording to be legal, so sorry.” Funny how the Democrat SoS’s “mistake” worked out to the Democrat Party’s ballot advantage, “Democracy” and “will of the voters” being discarded.

Great choice we have; a megalomaniac, or a total nit-wit.

In Indiana, all you need is a R in front of your name. Look at the last Secretary of State race, criminal over competent.

Taking other people’s money, even if you do give some of it to the poor is NOT “philanthropy”.

Why on earth is Pastis pouring gasoline on the fire for the second day in the row? There are plenty of Editorial cartoonists doing this already.

Why do you do this Steph? You may as well just do editorials. Or do what Mike Peters does, and do them separate
