I did once take a college statistics course that was advertised as allowing you to do the work at your own pace. It met once per week in the evening where/when you could go and take any quizzes (in order) that you hadnât already taken. Theyâd be graded on the spot and if you were happy with your score you could study, ask questions of the TAs or take another quiz. Or if unhappy (up to twice) you could take another version of that quiz. I was also signed up for a course that was known to suck serious homework hours toward the end of the term, so I wanted to get the stats course done ASAP. Imagine my surprise to discover that the prof hadnât even written the midterm by the time I wanted to take it. Ditto the final. I did ask the department secretary to rewrite the course description to make that clear: The existing wording was a clear lie. So far as I know they never did change the wording. But I certainly told anyone who asked.
Iâm not the HOA, I donât care if people want to put up their Holiday decorations early. I know of at least three houses that left their skeletons up all year. And lots of people leave Christmas lights up, they just donât turn them on.
I had a college professor who would not take a completed paper early. I was informed I would have to hang on to it and turn it in on the day it was due.

A compromise, he could continue to turn in his assignments from last Christmas.

Caulfield resists even the merest suggestion of conformity. Wonder how he ties his shoes?

Start turning in homework before itâs even assigned.

Itâs hard to complete the homework before itâs assigned, which is how youâd have to achieve âHalloween decorations up 9/20â levels of early.

But Frazâs point, even if blatantly obvious, still registers in kidâs brainâŠ

Just a little memory test here. Anyone remember that last time any of these strips featured an actual background?
