I don’t say I know everything, but I know enough. Now single for life.

Same with the people who know everything about parenting. They have no kids.

I’m about 35 years in, and still happily married. I may not know everything, but I know enough to keep the candle burning.

Happily married. Second time’s a charm.

As far as I know, they’re all single.

44 1/2 years and I still know next to nothing about it. It just works for us.

Along with the folks who think they know everything about marriage are the folks who think they know everything about what other people know.

It’s like people who don’t have kids are the first ones to critique someone elses kids. Unless you’ve walked that mile in my shoes, opinions are like but…..

Same goes for single women.

That is profoundly untrue. Married to the same woman since 1977 and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Learn from the mistakes of others.

I was married for almost 23 years, he left me 3 weeks before our 23rd and if we would have stayed married April 2025 would have been our28th) and I have been single for almost 5 years and I admit I never knew all there was to know about marriage, you never do because people and things change daily and you have to learn as you go, unfortunetly all her learned was to be a jerk to me and my disabled sister and verbally and emotionally abused both of us and let his toxic mother influence him to leave me and file for divorce. I don’t like living and being alone but it is much better than the last couple years and final 3 months of my marriage.

If an industrious girl were to throw a net over me, I probably wouldn’t struggle too much.

Happily, I might add.
