Had to call the IRS about five years 1st time on hold for two hours, cut off. Second time on hold for 90 minutes, finally got a person. They did however had great light jazz hold music, problem was it was interrupted by the “please continue to hold” every couple minutes.
He could be applying for any of the companies I’ve been trying to call for over a week about my sisters’ death last Monday. The local post office, DMV, her former employer, all of them in Enola PA. I spend all day, every day calling and emailing these people. I’m clear across the country and I haven’t even had time to grieve because of trying to contact these people. We’re going back there this coming week but we shouldn’t have to.
Too many comments to check them all, eyes are tired, but I didn’t see anyone remembering what it was like to just call the operator…a real live person who answered on the first ring…

The Count thought he was filling out an application for a job he did not want to list on his unemployment claim as an attempt.

Found this on a web site for cancelled movies
Pearls Before Swine
Note: This is not to be confused with the 1999 Jullius Ruben film of the same name.
In 2005, DreamWorks announced they wanted to purchase the rights to make a film adaptation of Stephan Pastis’ comic strip Pearls Before Swine.
Plot
The plot would be the same as the comics.
Why It Was Cancelled
DreamWorks Animation was busy with Over the Hedge at the time.

Wondered where this was going. Don’t really know about film agencies but it seemed like a good payoff so I laughed.

It would have worked much better if he had picked something people know about instead of film agent.
