Well, really! Trump can stop looking for a migrant disease. It’s called Muskrump, a mental, yet contagious disease with origins in Germany when Trump’s grandparents migrated to the US so that his grandfather could avoid serving in the military there; and in recent years the contagion has combined and is reinforced by a similar disease brought into this country by a rich immigrant originally from South Africa. It has infected a huge swath of the American public and threatens American and world stability. Symptoms of the disease include, among others, megalomania, narcissism, a complete aversion to obvious facts and justice, the acceptance of fantasy as real, the complete inability to think critically, the childish projection of their own thinking and of their made-up fantasies on those who recognize and draw attention to their symptoms.

Perhaps lack of competency is to blame.

Well, it could be that bird flu could beat another round of Covid to the punch during DJT’s second term. But, never say never. It could very well be that another pandemic sweeping the country could kneecap Trump’s second term (like the first waves, and his horrific response to it, kept him from being reelected in 2020). To be sure, I truly hope we don’t end up using refrigerator trucks as morgues and using coffee filters in the bathroom between now and 2028. But, as the saying goes, “If wishes and buts were candy and nuts, we’d have Christmas every day”.
