I think it should be a rule that Arizona should train in Florida and the Florida teams should train in Arizona. All the other teams need to leave their states for Spring Training while these teams just go up the street.

Spring training, where hope springs.

I wouldn’t want to play poker against Gladys.

Several times I was in FL in the spring and was able to get tickets for our home team. The smaller stadiums are really nice, other than an increased risk of being hit by a foul ball. No major fights for parking, sit where you want, sometimes even the food is better. I have been to quite a few minor league stadiums in a few states, but not recently.

I think her idea of sports is solitaire.

Just means she goes from football widow to baseball widow.

I think that someday baseball will be rescued to death.

I’m with Gladys. Baseball is boring to watch. I enjoyed actually playing it when younger.

February 17th, report date for pitchers. Even though my team is probably going to finish last, I love the excitement of a new season and maybe we wont suck as bad.
