LMBO !! Love that baby talk ! Incidentally, Dan Baird has a really good song, called “Baby Talk”.

Dan Baird was the lead singer for the Georgia Satelites.

The last panel was the humor I needed this morning! My area has another winter storm arriving this afternoon, the rescue I volunteer with has a kitten at the vet recovering from toxoplasmosis infection – she’s doing better now, but it was a stressful couple of days of seizures, eye sight that was diminished, and fevers.

This is cracking me up! :-)

Iggy: It’s time to design new and improved Lupinium and Ora Z proof shelves for the newly discovered scrolls. And who ya gonna call?

Iron Glove and Wally: Best Builders!

Iron Glove: They need to be sturdy, but easily put together and dismantled for moving.

Wally: And they should be accessible to all abilities.

Iggy: Maybe we should create a way for non climbers to climb the shelves.

Wally: What do you suggest?

Iggy: Have a staircase that’s easy to climb, but not too obvious.

Iron Glove: It should be beautiful, so users can say it’s just too pretty not to use.

Wally: Let’s get the Artisans involved in the design.

Iggy: And I know just who should test the stairs.

There’s nothing as amusing as a cat doing the “That didn’t happen! You didn’t see that!” routine after suffering a ding to their dignity. :-)

It’s not pride. It’s worry. In the hospital, I tried to get out of my chair to use the restroom, forgetting that the chair had an alarm on it. Well, it turns out the chair alarm was a good idea. As soon as I stood up, I passed out and hit the floor 24 hours after the back surgery. Now, I have never passed out before. I have never been on a floor and couldn’t right myself. And, I never had to call for help – all this happened, and now, I worry…is this my future? Will I have to have help going to the bathroom in the future? Getting old really, really s*cks.

Very sweet of the girl and Ora Zella to comfort Elvis. He should just give in and enjoy the attention.

We just adopted a cat nobody wants. Missing teeth. Couldn’t say no, who else would want him. Not many would. Alphabet Soup as named! He moved right in and we love him! He’s our new off the street housecat! Love him and won’t change his name! Huge appetite which we can handle! Good Pittsburgher, we put up with Mike Tomlin. He has a happy home! He’s my guy! I named him Mr. Snuggles but Alphabet Soup fits better andis my guy. Love! He’s so big, Bismarck would fit! All happiness here! Street to house cat :) I’m the prime care giver to my wife who is bed bound after several (6) operations and months of rehab stays. I have heart problems but I take marital vows seriously. She’s my girl of 52 years. Alphabet Soup fits into our home. He’s spoiled! Thanks for you time.

Oh, Elvis! In spite of your curmudgeonly ways, you are well-loved.

And in tonights news, “CAT WHO WAS ATTACKED BY FLOOR IS BEING NURSED BACK TO HEALTH BY A 3 YEAR OLD.”

“A cat was attacked by the floor below its bed when the floor conspired with the bed to dump the cat out so the floor could rise up and smack the cat in the face. When questioned why the floor and bed did this, the floor responded that the cat was fat, wasn’t moving, and was rubbing it against the grain. The bed, upon the advice of its lawyer had no comment.

The girl, who witnessed the whole incident immediately snatched the cat from the floor while saying, ‘I will hug him and squeeze him and name him Elbis!’ An unnamed source advised that the cat’s real name was Elvis, indicating that the girl has a speech impediment. Family members gathered as the girl started a sympathy IV for the stricken feline. Needless to say, all were shaken by the dastardly attack perpetrated upon the feline victim. Authorities are investigating to determine if any charges will be filed. Update at Eleven. Now back to Puck for the weather."

His pride is now also taking hits in other ways.
