I mean if they were donating plasma specifically, they would get their blood back actually.

Or Platelet Pheresis, which I used to do, until I developed a reaction to the anti-clotting concentrate.

The Mooney U music department should have string quartets, harpists, pianists. A guitar or hammer dulcimer could supply some gentle Irish ballads.

At least Luann’s Dad doesn’t play the cow bell (Loud House ref.)

I thought St. Pat’s day was 3/15 but my phone says Mon. 3/17. So maybe next week will stretch the Mar 17th blood drive to the 22nd.

I like the Spring Fair sequence, which spent actually time at the Fair rather than skipping over the actual event as so often happens in Luann, so I would not mind a week spent dealing with the blood drive.

If it was a Scottish theme, God forbid, the bagpipes. The instrument i think of from the Irish is primarily the pipes. Almost time, the Irish Rovers CD is…comforting.

I have Irish ancestors. I do find it interesting that all of the Festivity on “Saint” Patrick’s day have no connection with Patrick, the Briton missionary to Ireland. Yes, Patrick was not Irish.

Dunno if Luann is being too harsh on her father’s artistic ability. But hearing a ukulele for too long could make become bad the blood of a lot of peopleb. I’d be curious to see Ox play the trumpet, but I don’t think what he plays would be considered relaxing music. It seems like Luann’s plan is the best.

Listen to Luann, watch TJ and Phil. The others are making FAR too big a production of this. Very simply low key music over the speaker system.

I’m sorry but Paddy is an offensive term and this comic needs to be removed.
