At least it’s after Thanksgiving now. Some of us want a white Christmas. After that the snow (and cold) can go away.

What about your poor freezing belly (as well insulated as it is)? You should try the “taco” method next

Being a snowflake about seeing a snowflake?

It’s already snowing where I live.

I looked out on snow this morning. Temporarily pretty, but it looks like we’ll only get about an inch, and it will turn to slush pretty soon.

I have not seen a snowflake today but it’s cold 12 °F this morning!

It’s 14 degrees here. That’s January/ February weather!

We’re in a drought. The only flakes we see are dust. We do get plenty of cold and wind though.

You should see what it looks like where I live right now. At least for the moment the snow has stopped falling but it’s supposed to start again. A really scary drive into work today.

In Toronto, it’s 0°C (feels like -7°C) … and here I am, in my apartment, sweating my jujubes off … heat off… fans on. Contemplating turning the AC on.

Very “New Jersey-ish” Garfield!!AT the possibility of an inch or two of snow, the shopping frenzy starts. Shovels, salt, scrapers, milk, bread, etc. are wiped out.

I worked for a company in Austin, TX back in the ’80s when they were growing. They hired a lot of folks from up north. Austin would get two inches of snow and companies would shut down. The northeners called us a bunch of pantywaists. We tried to explain to them that the City of Austin had two sand trucks, no snow plows and no salt. After driving home a couple of times in those conditions, they began to get the picture.

Jon must leave the thermostat set real low if Garfield saw a snowflake in the house.

TEN BLANKETS???

We’re in an arctic blast right now.

My husband grew up in Michigan, so he says. I don’t believe it, because he’s been in Iowa with me for over 20 years and as soon as it gets down to 55 degrees, he’s putting on his earmuffs, gloves, hat, jacket and parka over the jacket.
