Before judging Tara, I’m gonna hear what she has to say first. She could have left the party, we don’t know yet.

PS: Nice Shape there, Tara. Perhaps Tiffany WON’T be the one that’ll be in competition with Luann for Jack after all…..,

My guesses: Tara missed class because her wild party got raided and they put Tara and some others in jail – a bad turn of events for Tara who already has a record. Tara may have lost her old phone in the course of that. Or she may have switched phones because she doesn’t want Luann to know this happened. Also it sounds like Tara dropped out of the chemistry class. Also at this point, Tara may find herself in the “three’s a crowd” situation with Luann & Jack.

A lost phone doesn’t explain missing a lot of classes….so ’splain, Tara.

I think the Evanses are teasing those of us who wondered what happened to Tara at the party.

Now neither of them are carrying Luann’s (book)bag.

Tara you have a lot of explaining to do!!

It appears Tara has taken a step back in commenter likability.

I’ll wait to see how this play’s out.

I don’t see Tara as real competition with Luann for Jack’s eye. Luann and Jack have an comfortable commonality that we have not seen between him and Tara. He basically ignored Tiffany’s flirting at Kids First. I don’t think there is any tug-of-war brewing.

OK, so late comment really on yesterday, but I think Greg is doing a DC crossover and Jack really is Kal-el. The only bummer is that Luann really needs to change her last name to LeGroot for this to work out…

Jack even looks genuinely concerned about Tara. NOw, if he would shave his whiskers off…..he wouldn’t look quite so tough…

Don’t you love how texting and calling are the only ways to check on people you are concerned about? Nah, me neither.

Funny we didn’t see any trace of concern (or even remembrance) from either Lu or Jack for Tara, when they hot-footed it from the wild party. Not what one would expect from “friends”.

So judgmental, sheesh!! It is concerning, in the context of her story so far, that she suddenly disappeared from classes, but again going by my experience as a community college teacher this happens a lot, and practically the question would be whether she gets administratively dropped, or had she been emailing her teachers, or would she be able to catch up before she was dropped. There are all kinds of reasons, and given Greg’s proclivity to surprise, I am not jumping to conclusions. I am glad she is back, and no I think friends describes her with Jack and Luann. She already is in the camp that Jack and Luann really have (or should) feelings for each other.

Meh… dematriculation is coming for Tara. After college she can join the Marines.

Whew! Glad to see Tara again. Glad she’s ok and she seems to not be harboring any ill feelings about Luann ditching the party.

The strips from earlier in the week sure put a dent on my “No Luann & Jack” stance. I am glad to see Jack get fleshed out as a character instead of being just a ‘dumb jock’.

And then there’s Tara, the fun girl!

Looks like Luann and Jack (who are tres simpatico) are hanging together not only in chem lab, but around campus too – think it’s only a matter of time before they start going out on dates (hopefully not bowling) again – and then…

I’m wondering if someone at that party sexually assaulted Tara – or at least tried to.

Tara is back. With a new phone (and apparently a new number). By having a new number (instead of her prior one being transferred to the new phone) it suggests to me that she wanted a new number perhaps to attempt to avoid contact with some folk(s) she did not want to deal with any longer….. bill collectors perhaps, more nefarious sorts, aggravating past romantic interests, etc.

Missing class(es) seems perfectly natural for Tara. She only seems to do what she feels interested in doing…. 100% of the time. So, her missing (skipping) classes, even multiple, consecutive times would not surprise me.

So, the big questions I see are:

1. Will Tara come back now and reveal what happened at the party?

2. Will Tara get “grilled” by Luann and Jack about her whereabouts?

3. Will Tara either accidentally or purposefully lead Luann to become jealous of her because Luann may think Jack likes Tara more than Jack likes Luann?

I knew several who wanted the college environment but not the classes and associated work. We tended to avoid them.

Seriously? Who gets a new phone number when they get a new phone? it’s not the 90s any more.

Did Jack stuff Luann’s backpack in his own? Where did it go?

Hooray! Tara is back!!! And I hope that her new phone hasn’t been stolen from someone.

She found a new phone more important than classes.

And the new Phone Company didn’t transfer the Old Number to the New Phone?

Tara Doody Released From Custody

Tara Doody, younger sister of Howdy Doody, was

released yesterday afternoon from the Pitts City

Jail on her own recognizance pending trial. Miss

Doody has been charged with stealing her room -

mate’s vehicle, then leaving the AT&T store in Squander

Mall before making payment on a cell phone. Leslie Knox,

a friend, posted bail for Miss Doody and declined to

comment other than he had hoped to make things

right for her by going to the AT&T store and paying them

in full for the stolen phone. This is not the first brush

with trouble for Miss Doody; she was expelled from Loony

Moony Uni last year for breaking into a vending machine,

taking the TV from the common area, and Moony security

stated her room in the residence hall was found to be full

of stolen merchandise. Miss Doody’s former Moony RA,

Bernice Halper, said she was hopeful Tara had turned over

a new leaf, but was shocked to find out that the new leaf

Tara turned over was the Nissan Leaf belonging to her

room – mate only known as “Spike”.

2 days left : will there be a bombshell reveal leading into next week?

I had that exact same thing happen to me. Someone I knew who would always respond stopped communicating for several weeks. i feared the worst. But she had gotten a different phone.

Speak of the devil and she shall appear.

I guess a new cell might explain the unanswered earlier calls from Luann, but more likely is that Tara is just careless about such things. Anyway, nice to see her back, I think….

Come on gang. The reason she didn’t answer her phone calls from luann is that her old phone was lost/stolen/destroyed at the party and she just now could get a new one!!! DUH!

Well, if your phone screen is so destroyed so that it is unresponsive to touch and your contacts were not saved to the cloud then being incommunicado is possible. It happened to me. Fortunately, my contacts were previously downloaded to my car’s phone book!

Wonder if Tara’s flippant attitude about life will lead Jack and Luann to walk away from her. That she’s not really a fun girl but irresponsible and immature

I don’t know why they are so interested in keeping the third wheel close. They seem to get on well together when it is just the two of them.
