guess again, Tiff (oh, you’re SO going to get it)

The question is …

Oh no, playing poker for jelly beans!? I just KNEW that student accommodations were wretched dens of iniquity! Bernice will be STUNNED at this perversity!

I thought these two were Dez’s friends. Does this mean Dez is in the Hall A Gang also?

I love Tiffany.

Uh-oh! What does wet blanket Bernice want now? Some how or another, she’ll find a way to suck all the fun that Tiffany is having. What? Were they laughing too loud?

Welcome to another chapter of Days of Our Dorms.

Never seen Tiff so open, unreserved, having fun before. Being poor agrees with her. Looks like she’s adjusting.

Oh yay, we get to see the frigid wet blanket Bernice again. Let’s see how much joy she gets to ruin this time. She’s like the Dark Side of Amy Santiago (whom I absolutely ADORE).

This could have something to do with last week. And Tiff’s involvement in the GunBet gossip network.

Viper and Hair? If I remember correctly they are the low budget Crystal and Knute.

And We’re back to Tiffany. A lot of “folks” will breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Also, Viper as well as Hair are back. And if THEY are back, can Piro be far behind?

So, what kind of BAD news can Bernice have for Tiffany?

1) “Come and met your new (Psycho) roommate!”

2) “Dr. Fabbi needs to talk to you right away about your (FAILING) grades!”

3) “I have it on good authority that there are activities going on in Hall A that are AGAINST dorm rules! I need YOU to be My eyes and ears! Can I count on you Tiffany?”

4) “Gunther found out YOU were spreading Lies about Him and Bets and Bets is vowing to RIP your hair out by it peroxide roots!” – Bernice

And Tiffany? Jelly Beans a tad fattening…….,

Just think – Tiff popping several hundred jelly beans a night. She will need to get those baggy sweats out again. AND, hanging with that gang, her grades will probably tank further than they are right now.

Although, I will have to say that jelly bean poker is a bit on the tame side, and Hair really thinks they are getting away with something BIG!

Tiffany better be careful with her winnings. Too many jelly beans could put the pounds back on.

There’s hope for Tiffany yet

Wow, so scandalous. Next thing you know they’ll all be kicked out of college for this. And what’s worse is they’re only using the black and white beans. Savage!

Just because Bernice needs to see Tiff, doesn’t mean Tiff needs to see Bernice immediately. Really, what power does a RA have?

Sounds like Bernice wants more dirt than Luann was able to give.

Gaaak! Once again, Greg sets Tiffany up for failure with this crowd. She’s lost nearly everything and is trying to claw her way back. Hoo boy, Greg, whoever she reminds you of that did you wrong in your past must have done a real doozy on you. Now, poor Tiffany pays and pays, and pays.

(1) Bad news. You are failing your classes?(2) still own $$$ (3) you are going undercover?(4) Ann Eiffel is back ; Daddy is dropping his support?(5) Luann is looking for you? (6) Bernice needs a date?(7) new arc?

It’s jelly beans so it’s all in good fun. I for one, don’t see the harm in playing for candy. It’s not even technically gambling because there’s no money at stake. If Bernice has an issue with this, she needs to get over herself and get a life.

Hmm, is this a setup? Jellybeans now and wins. Later, maybe the jellybeans are “chips” for real money and Tiffany gets slowly taken to the cleaners – a few dollars at a time.

And why does Bernice need to see her? Her new roommate showed up? Her dorm room is a problem? It can’t be for playing cards unless real money is involved.

Is this about Gunther or is it time for another story arc?

They are playing in the common room. So it cannot be all that secret. BTW, shouldn’t that text message read, “Tiff- I need to see u” ?

Are we going to find out how she paid for her clothes buying binge?

So the wild kids … play jelly bean poker?

Poker for money In the dorm was common when I was in college. Of course not legal but I never heard of a bust.

What would Tiffany blab to Bernice about? The students are not doing anything bad or dangerous in this strip.

She did buy multiple bags’ worth of clothing/accessories before this party. But a simple shirt, and no accessories worn?

Tiffany finally looks happy. All the more reason she needs to tell daddy and Ann goodbye and goodluck.

Good to see Tiff enjoying herself for a change.

I’ve been waiting for a “Tiff-in-Hall-A” arc. It has so much potential.

Just an aside comment or two of the original characters.

The “Tiffany” character has been abandoned; destroyed really. The svelte, flashy, self-absorbed, etc., rich girl has been eliminated from the strip by Ann Awful. Even if the Awful character gets crushed and destroyed she (Tiffany) will never return. A new character is evolving. Tiffany-Prime?

About this same time period a new “Gunther” is evolving. The original hasn’t had so dramatic change as Tiffany-Prime, but changes are occurring. The new “Gun” character is seemingly more self-assured, outgoing, more masculine less of a victim/door mat.

When you look at the others Luann, Bernice TJ, etc. They are basically the same in behavior and life view. Aside from Brad none of the characters have changed that much.

Do you suppose Greg has plan for more changes in these two… or others?

Hooray! Tiffany has finally become friends with other students! Before, she barely knew them and now she plays poker with them and they laugh together. Changing the room was definitely a good thing. Too bad it’s so easy for her to deny her friendship with Bernice with no regrets… I hope this will be the beginning for Piro’s return in Bernice’s life. I have been waiting for this for two years.

I’m pretty sure that playing cards in the common area is OK.

So maybe Bern is going to assign a roommate for Tiffany. A new character would add spice. But what if it’s Bets?

I don’t really like where this is going.

Oh Boy – finally a promising story line – and fun people. I really like the blond guy, although I forget his name. I’m pretty sure he lives in the dorm, but doesn’t take any classes. We need Piro now.

Most people don’t smile that much at losing a hand!

I agree with Rabbithole; I wonder if is suggested that they start playing for money instead of jellybeans. Likely they end up in some poker room where we find that Ann Eiffel is in charge.

I don’t know who these two characters are. Did we meet them earlier somewhere?

A high stakes porker game.

It is my opinion that any man who opines to a woman, fictional or not, that a food is she is consuming is “fattening”, deserves to be publicly caned.

Finally, a new arc. I was getting a little sick of Gunther/Bets/Luann’s arc of dotheyordontthey.I really would like to see Tiff get a fair deal for a change. She’s not doing anything wrong by playing for jelly beans. And who the heck cares if she gains a pound or two? It ain’t nobody’s business but hers.

I saw an interview with Julian Fellows once, who shared that people would approach him with tears in the eyes and plead, “Please, just let Edith be happy.” Maybe we should do the same with Tiff. Please GnK, just let Tiffany be happy.

Easily led, she is. By comparison, Pinocchio was discriminating !

New arc?Jelly bean poker is a gateway for a possible hustle? Hair and Viper don’t appear to be dweebs. Hair was carrying drum sticks (music major?). Viper was making deliveries to Dez (marketing major?)

Here’s a theory… Tom Farrell finds out Tiffany sold things he bought for her to a junk dealer, and maybe (just maybe!) he finally decides to find out how his little girl is doing.

No doubt Ann Eiffel will want to tag along, but perhaps Tom will finally get his brain out of Ann’s purse and realize he’ll get better results going without her.

It’s a comic strip… Anything is possible.

If they don’t want the RA to know about the Jelly Beans, they probably shouldn’t play in the Common room.

Bad News Bernie is the Bad Penny that just keeps on coming back. Tiffany, Viper, and Hair are having good, clean fun!

We can’t have that going on, can we, Frau R.A. Bernice?

Tiff is backsliding. Hopefully Bern and/or Bets can get her back onto the straight path or else she’ll spend all her available $ and/or fail classes.
