Oh, lord, Shannon is here. I guess beb will have to hate this âLuannâ comic. Just like he hated all the others, because they had characters and stories he didnât like.
Compared to the past Shannon has really calmed down a lot. Luann seems to really enjoying spending time watching her now. Sheâs really cute in her attempt to write a book from the end and Luann, who has written short stories and knows how difficult it can be, enjoys the scene.
I can relate. Iâve been writing a book for a long time for fun, and the process is a journey. Iâm not going in order myself, either. Good luck with this story âŠ
Edgar Allen Poe wrote of doing precisely this in âThe Philosophy of Compositionâ. I doubt he always composed his works in this manner, but he definitely felt it was a perfectly valid way to compose a work. If you know where it ends, then you can build the structure to get there.
First of all, I like Shannon â come at me, donât come at me, my opinion remains the same. I think she was completely out of control when we first met her, but I think her dad is starting to mature a little and I think Brad and Toni (and fam) have given her a great deal of stability. Nowâs sheâs just six, and acts like a typical six year old. Iâm also impressed with the way Luann doesnât try and interfere; just letâs her work it out. I guess being a fellow writer, Luann gets it!
I was going to sit on this comment, but maybe now is the time to speak up. Years ago, when the coloring gig was new for me, I got a kick out of posting hints about upcoming dailies, butâbig BUTâI learned it was a selfish act that violated the trust placed in me. So I stopped. âNuff said?

Or just because he is a Troll.

If this is Shannon sheâs aged 3 or 4 years since we last saw her. Meanwhile Luann remains 19.

Many people donât know that Margaret Mitchell wrote the end of GWTW first. And the heroineâs first name was âPansyâ, not âScarlettâ.

Sometimes it works better to start at the end of a story and work backwards. Itâs not a crazy ideaâŠ

Shannonâs pretty clever. For th last page she pulled the bottom piece of paper from the ream of paper. Only 499 pages to go based on that

Hey, Shan.
How about a story where this deadbeat father drops his precocious daughter off on unsuspecting relatives without warning?
And if they complain, he lays a guilt-trip on âem? ;-)

According to Franklin Covey, we should âBegin with the end in mind.â

There is no need to write once you know the end.

Good. She got the hard part done.

And Shannon makes an appearance. Her dad must have dumped her off again or she got tired of bing watching on the big screen TV and wanted a break.

Wasnât there a whole arc about how Jonah got a job working from home and therefore wouldnât need to dump his daughter on people anymore?

Luannâs hair is green. Why, because itâs Sunday, or you lost your yellow crayon?

If Shannon becomes a prize-winning childrenâs author, Iâm out. She needs to connect with that tiny Elvis dude that scammed Tiff.
