I thought the one star district was Texas.

    .

Was it one star out of five, or one star out of ten?

    .

Let’s see if Abbott wants to close the border again.

Home of the “All you can hold down” buffet. They have signs posted which read “When eating, please watch your coats, because if you look at our food you’ll barf”.

Even the health inspectors must be afraid to go there, since the businesses are still operating.

Every city/town/village has an area like this one. They just don’t include it in the tourist maps.

These are local hangouts with good food and good prices that intentionally post one star reviews to keep the tourons away.

When I lived in Los Angeles I would go to Korea Town for Korean BBQ and no I would not go there late at night. During the LA Riots none of the rioters dared to go into Korea Town, even LAPD would not go there so the businesses exercised their 2nd Amendment Rights and posted lookouts on the rooftops and in front of their business.

“Caveat Emptor” is Latin for “buyer beware”.

I worked in a big office building after graduation, and there were no lunch spots nearby, so the building’s landlord set up his wife and daughter with an unlicensed sandwich shop in the building. They had no refrigerator, so we soon learned to not trust their meats – and definitely don’t get mayonnaise on anything… that shop had no business name sign, so we called it the “Ptomaine Deli”.
