    Snerk. Neither Spouse nor, when he lived here, Son likes macaroons. I love ’em. But store bought macaroons are BAD. Gotta be more like home made (using unsweetened coconut) and only about half as sweet.

    I bought my son and DIL a new Fiestaware cookie jar to match their set of dishes. Under the lid I added a picture of Cookie Monster.

    I love coconut, Fresh, shredded, sweetened, unsweetened, toasted, etc. I grew up eating fresh coconut. Had to work really hard to break open the nut and remove the meat. Dad would make a delicious coconut caramel candy with the fresh coconut. Drank the milk as well Hubby… the opposite. He hates coconut. To him it is a waste of calories.
