In the past, we would have hymn practice in Sunday School led by the choir leader. She wanted us to sing louder and said: For those who can sing now is the time to be joyful and sing loudly and for those that can’t now is the time to get even.
Yeah, I’m ALWAYS singing. Boy does it bug everyone, and since my head injury I can no longer hit the high notes as well, but SCREW ’EM! I LOVE TO SING-A! ABOUT THE MOON-A AND THE JUNE-A AND THE SPRING-A!!!
My grandson said, “Yes I can,” yesterday. I asked him if he wanted to listen to Yes I Can He did, so I did a YouTube video of ANYTHING YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO BETTER He loved it. He was going around the house belting out YES I CAN
Is she gonna call the paramedics when he can’t get up if he tries to garden? I’m younger than he is and I hesitate to pick things up off of the floor – weeding a garden is a no go for me.

If I had a nickel for every time I had gotten out of garden work by copying a nun’s song from a classic movie musical, I’d have about six nickels.
Unfortunately, those are all just from the sidewalk.

“Hello! ma Baby,
Hello! ma honey,
Hello! ma ragtime gal,
Send me a kiss by wire,
Baby, my heart’s on fire!
If you refuse me,
Honey, you’ll lose me,
Then you’ll be left alone,
Oh baby, telephone
And tell me I’m your own,
Hello! hello! hello! there!"

Works when you don’t know the answer as well. Remember that Nelson.. when your teacher asks a question at school.

She asked him, “How many times have I asked?” She didn’t ask him to actually DO the weeding. Yes, I’ve had teenagers.
