Opal seems a little sharp today.

She seems cheesed off!

Our cat likes a little cream cheese on her food. But she’s not at all into the Parmesan.

Tell her she can chase mice for her food.

OMG, my wife started giving our cat cheese (after 17 years on only dry cat food) and now he pesters her mercilessly for it. I never give it to him, although I will feed him. He pesters me to be let out even though he cat a cat door and still uses it sometimes. He’s getting old and arthritic, I think.

Muffin been reading Garfield.

Finnegan will eat grated cheese, but he prefers shredded.

Muffin keeps hoping Italian cheese will attract that big Italian mouse, Topo Gigio.

We’re all getting old! Whether it be arthritis or heart, kidneys or something else.

Parmesan is really high in salt. Not so good for people. Is high salt okay for cats?

Had a cat which would bother us over a “hole in the bowl.” He’d have plenty of food but pushed it all to the edges, and demanded that we correct the “crisis.”

Since…Cheese!

One of ours is on fluoxetine, aka Prozac. On the instruction sheet was a warning to not feed any sort of aged cheese while he’s on this drug. I wonder if humans who have to take Prozac get the same warning?

Ever since Garfield invited her over for lasagna.

Treat him with the respect old animals (me included) deserve.

At about two in the afternoon, my cat will interrupt her nap and come up to me (wherever I am at the time in the house) and just sit and stare at me. Then it dawns on me that at two in the afternoon, she gets a couple of treats (dental chews) as a “dessert”. It’s happens like clockwork.

The cat is a gourmet.

Just for argument’s sake, I’ve heard from multiple sources that Olive Garden’s grated cheese is a particular brand of Romano.

Likely the reason my cousin Nancy dragged her cat around by the tail in the 1950s.

Ah, because you spoil it. I feed my dogs and they will eat it or go hungry, same with my kids when they were growing up.

Why the Olive Garden? Why not a real Italian restaurant?

My wife has spoiled my dog rotten by always adding two toppings of various types to my dog’s dry food, almost always including shredded cheddar cheese. Gotta pay the cheese tax!

Giving only dry cat food for 17 years sounds like animal cruelty.

Muffin is happy for the moment because Opal is finally trained properly.

Let it starve. It will eventually eat what you put out.

Many decades ago I started sprinkling a bit of green can parmesan on my cats food. Then I discovered the good stuff and gave it to her one day. After that she wanted nothing to do with the green can.

Poor kitty. Getting old is not easy on a cat. Maybe more than for a human.They can’t tell you what is making them feel bad. Or even that they dofeel bad.
