Baba speaks the truth, grasshoppers…..and she isn’t going to take you to the other side. These youngsters have heard of the other side and don’t want to go there. But with Baba they’re in a Good Place..so no worries.

Some cats can’t even go down stairs normally… And Baba knows the important things.

Regardless of which “other side” Baba is referring to, it’s a paradise over there and it’s time to cross over…

I went looking for Baba Mouse’s backstory and found Georgia’s Meet The Creator interview. Not the first time I’ve read it, not the first time I’ve teared up reading it. I’m so glad I found BCN and Georgia persevered with it. I can’t imagine the world without this little family.

I mean, the addition is probably a lot quieter than the rest of the house. That’d be enough for me.

I love panel 2! I was wondering whether Baba would take them to the People or back to the shelter, but now we know. I also love the contrast between the others and Ora Zella in the first and last panels. I think Iggy is ready for some peace and care.

I’m trying to reconcile Baba having umpteen litters with having been born in a shelter. Even 20 years ago, most shelters didn’t let you bring home an unspayed female cat. They usually spayed them before offering them for adoption.

OFF TOPIC: I had cataract surgery on my left eye yesterday. It feels weird to watch the TV without glasses for the first time in 60 years. My right eye will be done on November 14.

This has been a great storyline. I, for one, don’t know where this story is going, and that makes it very exciting. I almost want to get up at midnight to see the next installment as soon as possible; however, Hamilton would not like me disturbing his sleep.

Ora Zella defiantly crossing her kitty arms while Iggy continues to look sad and worried. Anti-biotics stat! I need to see a happy Iggy expression.

Ah yes, the contrary stage of youth, for both kittens and humans—the “terrible twos,” and “tempestuous threes.” So looking at my chart, Ora Zella is between 2 and 3 months old. From what tortie owners have said, she will probably never grow up. That’s fine, little kit: it is never too late to have a happy childhood! (But do respect the wisdom of your elders. It will last longer that way!)

Of course the werewolf wants to live there. But the undead doesn’t look so sure. Maybe lead astray by the werewolf?

I had been thinking the werewolf was the Renfield kitty, but now it seems the poor undead is actually Renfield.

And as for the other side, maybe Tillie should put in an appearance. Bea won’t be scared (she did say she knew everyone alive and otherwise in the BPH). And I doubt Baba Mouse would be. But those two might be willing to go to the other, other side of the house.

The other side also offers unionized employment in the media industry.

Happy 3rd Gotcha Day, Bella! We’re glad you’re part of the family.

Wow! I can’t believe it, 8:30 p.m. MST (aka PDT) . . . AND NO ONE HAS YET MENTIONED IT But then, maybe I’m imagining it. Putting in an EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! just to be safe. Am I imagining Ora Zella toebeans in Panel 1? And no one else has mentioned them yet (that I read)????

We need people there who can bring these things.
