Pom-poms don’t bounce, barely roll, what’s the fun other than carrying them around for a while.

I can remember getting clip on pom poms for my saddle oxfords.

I have a Siamese who is determined to get into the crafts supplies but his thing is pipe cleaners. He makes artistic sculptures out of them. He and Sophie would have a lot to discuss!

The art that the children made is very impressive- personally I cannot make art that well.

They bounce down stairs, alone or in pairs, and yet they don’t make a sound! Kerpling kerpling! They’re marvelous things, for cats to fling around! It’s Pom Poms, it’s Pom Poms!We know it’s a wonderful toy! It’s great fun for cat girls and boys!

Holmes is forever taking things off of Marie’s art table upstairs and carrying them through the house.

Are we SURE they’re pom poms and not Tribbles? Someone mentioned Tribbles last week here, I think?

How incredibly crafty! I love the rainbow and the spaghetti most. This sort of thing has the potential to be amusing, characters speculating and assigning deeper meaning to something revealed to be a coincidence. Or perhaps they are relatives of the evil crinkle balls from the V&V game. You really never know!

So, do we have a spider using pom pom camouflage to hide in plain sight, or a very creative pom pom replication of a spider?

I find the precision of the pom pom line ominous. But at least it’s not glitter. Yet.

I think somecat needs a pawdicure.

Anyone have any guesses as to what the blue (paper? posterboard?) with the white pom poms on (sticks?) might be representing in the middle of panel four?

So many colors of pom-poms! I love them!

(I love them especially because I don’t have to touch them. Pom-poms feel a lot like cotton balls, and I absolutely cannot stand cotton balls. Cotton, yes. Those cotton balls you get to clean things? UGH. Cannot touch.)

Wonderful! The Girl is such a great crafter.

We took Bartholomew to the vet today. No big deal; she just wanted a blood draw to check on something that was a little off when he had the drooling episode last month. I’m so grateful we have such an excellent animal hospital near by and such good and caring staff, but… I hate going there. Even though we were in the regular cat waiting area, I couldn’t help thinking about how many times I was sitting in emergency waiting, worrying.

So they’re like giant, fuzzy macaroni?

That extreme close up on Goldie’s paw is.. unerving. I mean at least we know what their paws look like and how they function, it’s just… weird.

Panel 3 is my favorite.

Wait, look at that pom-pom garland. Looks exactly like the line up in the hall. Could it be the line up in the hall is just part of a nursery craft?

I also love but forgot to mention the girls little florish with her crafts. Can she see the cameras? Ambigious!
