I wonder if we are going to have a week of Puck trying to keep Ora Zella out of trouble.

I’m sure OZ can find other things to do. Sharpening claws on lampshades, hunting and killing socks (Lupin can give helpful tips), and climbing curtains are all possibilities. A-Kitten-With-Whom-I-Was-Acquainted got into the wardrobe and climbed my wife’s expensive silk dresses. An imaginative kitten should never be bored.

This arc is REALLY good. While the cats likely WILL be adopted to the house, it dosen’t ease up the tension. It also helps the one being paranoid for a change isn’t mommy’s special boy, but Mom Cat.. I mean Elvis joined in, but it’s heartwrenching to see poor puck desperately trying to keep his kids in the house, and together.

Puck and Ora Z are just to adorable together. But BEWARE the bored kitty! Especially on a double Toebean Night!

Oh, there’ll be stuff to do. Just none of it destructi… Why are you looking at me like that?

RSORTB! RSORTBOOZRL! Rare Sighting of Rear Toe Beans on Ora Zella’s red leg! Also, pink toe beans on Puck’s front paw, which, come to think of it, is probably artistic license. Black cat feet tend to have black pads. (Orbsters rush to check toes, and reply with counterexamples in 3, 2, 1, … )

Puck: Alright, everyone. We’ll stay the night in the Royal Palace and tomorrow pack up for Egypt. Kara and Vann’s friends Humphrey and Lauren have agreed to come with us.

Iggy: Wow, we’re going to have quite an entourage!

Imagine, me not knowing what Filk was, I had to something really rare and actually look it up. I love Science Fiction, esp. Star Trek, but have never gone to a convention or became an active fan (with all the gear) in my life. I outgrew all that by 12 or so because I wanted girls to notice me for the right reasons. (there was a huge nerd stigma for trekkies and Sci-fi in the 70’s) and I wanted to avoid that. However, I’ve written hundreds of parodies of popular songs over the last 50 years for the ears of friends and loved ones. I was a Master Filker and didn’t even know it until I was nearly 60! Honestly, I’m glad it has a name (like a disease! lol) and a huge base i’m just now exposing myself (eeek!) to.

Seriously, thank you. I won’t be packing off to any Cons yet or ever probably but i’m glad to know something new, well to me anyway.

Listen to Momcat, Ora Z. He is wise in the ways of the house, plus he wants you to stay around forever!

It’s nice and touching to see a “parent-child” moment even when the child isn’t yours. If I was the owner of all these cats, I would create a “cat room” and make a deal with Rubbermaid and make everything from rubber and let the cats go free and do whatever they want!!

Vlad (miss him) liked to stare up into the lamp that lights the livingroom. He broke two of them until I finally wired the base to the wire crate that was popular a few years ago. Once he discovered he couldn’t do that anymore, he lost all interest.
