Puck will never understand how to play Birdle Wordle…

It’s not hard. How many ways can you spell “cheep.”

SCARF would be a good Wordle starting word.

It is a great scarf. I love purple. It’s hard to find a really vibrant purple yarn.

I can’t believe how quickly (Chitter or Chatter? — who is the knitter in the family?) whipped that up. Wow.

Hoomins likes to does catwatching, Puck.

It’s nice that peace has attracted peace. Good morning, Iggy.

Chatter seems to be modeling the scarf for Puck. I remember a panel showing the birds ice skating on the bird bath, but my spreadsheet is on the computer and I still can’t get here from there.

Aww, Chitter and Chatter are just like an old married couple, except they do everything with their feet.

There’s a similar game for birders called Birdie; where you get glimpses of a picture of a bird, and try to guess what it is!

Alice: I think they’ll be around the Midnight Oasis, not far from Floofnet’s culinary school.

Vi: Let me guess: Elvis wants tea and scones.

Puck: Well, he always does like cinnamon.

Agnes: We’ll see what we can do.

What a gorgeous scarf! Iggy’s little peek over the windowsill is very cute.

With this year’s double brood of cicadas, the bird population is doing really well in Missouri. I saw a huge blue jay at our birdbath this morning, a cicada in its beak. Interestingly, you will see robins, cardinals, and others sharing the birdbath, but the blue jay is given a wide berth. They’re a mean bird. Hamilton sits at the French doors and chitters at the birds most mornings. I think he is working on recipes.

I’m sure Chatter got the scarf pattern from, Better Nest and Gardens, magazine!

I got Wordle today in 3 too. My friend got it in 2!

That’s a lovely purple scarf. I made a Doctor Who length scarf a few years back in purple for a dear friend of mine, who has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

My mama would make me scarfs. She was also my second favorite cook…

When I saw Georgia’s Instagram photo of besties Puck & Ora Zella curled up together yesterday, I commented that I hoped she’d join him quietly for birdwatching the way Iggy is doing today. (IIRC, she does it IRL.) But Iggy doing it is fine too!

Loved the 4th panel, when the knitter gave the birdle-player the scarf, by surprise!

This combines 3 of my favorite things – BCN, knitting (well, actually crochet), Wordle (ANIME is my starter word).

I stopped Wordling when they started wanting me to create an account and log in before I could view my stats. Shame, I was undefeated.

Wish I could make myself a scarf. Unfortunately, I don’t have any wings.

Puck likes mystery, not the puzzle kind but the spiritual.
