Carry him in between your teeth Hobbes. That should remind him what his legs are for.

for a kid who had built dozens of snowmen in the most bizarre postures, this is a very disapointing arc… Is Bill Watterson becoming woke? or it is just a blank day?

My patient, a preschool teacher, tells me 5 year olds are basically mute and unable to communicate their basic needs. Some 4 years old are in pull-up diapers. This is really bad.

I don’t believe “vicariously” is word I could have used in a sentence when I was Calvin’s age.

I wonder if Watterson later added Hobbes’ ‘bubble’ in the last panel. Or, he was WAY ahead of his time…

And there it is, the amalgam of all that is negative at any age. My nature is to be a sloth. My commitment to family, true friends and country sent me down a fulfilling, sometimes sorrowful path. I am old now, less ambitious with a slower step, but I still do my best to balance what has to be done with that sloth mindset of my youth. To quote Joe Walsh, “Life’s been good to me so far”

Yeah, but if I want to experience virtual reality, then I have to go out into the living room, put on the headset, make sure it’s charged, put on the headphones, strap on the controllers and battery pack….

This reminds me of a joke in “The Jetsons”. In one episode, George comes home from a hard work-day of “pushing buttons”… ☺
