I don’t think the kids — specially the boys — want THAT kind of picture, Tiffany. Can you imagine their parents’ complaints, not compliments?

I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that’s not a headshot.

I want to expose them to a great model. And I want to expose myself to them. Wait, what?

Umm…Tiff? We need to have a little talk…

“Role model”: does anyone believe that Tiffany has any idea of that concept? Has even heard the two words spoken together? She certainly has never had one herself.

Tiffany “accidentally” sexually awaken 7 year old boys..

Tiffany reached into the bag without looking and inadvertently got that picture, thinking it was a head shot. I don’t think she’s seen it yet and will realize her mistake when she does see it. Accidents can happen!

And besides, it’s a tasteful photo of her. It may be a little provocative and even suggestive but it’s not pornographic in any way. But i agree, given her lack of attentiveness, she probably accidentally grabbed the wrong photo.

In spite of Luann’s disapproval, it appears these kids really love Tiffany.

She is regressing to the old Tiffany, the only difference is she is passing out a plus size picture of herself. She needs help with understanding how to be a better person. Mrs Forgarty still has a lot of work to do. Top of the list for Mrs Forgarty is to teach Tiffany that the path to self-betterment is not passing around pictures of herself.

I didn’t want to see Les bag Tiffany – however now I’m beginning to think that’s what she needs. After a nice initial romp, Les would lead her ego downstairs a bit.

Oh, dear…and after I had had such high hopes for the new Tiffany. I guess the detractors were right, she really hasn’t changed on the inside. Same shallow Tiff. Too bad.

I’m just relieved that the ‘real surprise guest’ never showed up in this arc…

Tiffany has had to resort to being like she was before, that gave her confidence to deal with what life (Greg) keeps sending her way. Any boy she is interested in, Luann usually ends up with them. I always saw Luann and Bernie as the “mean girls”. They were the ones always playing tricks on Tiffany and bad – mouthing her behind her back. Isn’t that what mean girls do?

Wow, so how many days in a row are we going to be beaten over the head with the punchline of “Tiffany may be fat now but she’s just as shallow as ever”? It feels like her last story arc when we kept getting reminded over and over about how much her therapist sucked. Or the Gunther/Les “Odd Couple” comparison.

Wow, when you look at it, this comic really is starting to fall into a pattern of “pick a punchline, then repeat it every day for a week.”

Is it me or have we been bombarded by propaganda in the form of Pro Tiffany posts ad nasueum?I’ll try not to counter with statements that Tiffany is shallow, vain, clueless … y’know, things like that.And no references to her Sumo wrestling aspirations. Nope, none of that either.

Greg, on Sunday I want a full page spread!

Tiffany – “Whooooooa, not so FAST, kid! That’s $5 bucks EACH for the Pix! And for another $5 bucks, I’ll even add perfume, a “lipstick print,” and autograph it for you!

The Kids – “ YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!”

Tiffany – “Okay Kids, line up who’s firs…….,”

Luann – “Look Kids! Our “Special Guest” is HERE!”

Jack – “Hiya Kids! My name’s Jack and I’ve bought my dog Max! And we’ve gonna show you some tricks as soon as I manage to wake Max up. And…..,Holy @#$&! Is that YOU, Tiffany?!!?”

Tiffany – “Why yes, handsome. What a ‘surprise.’ I-Had-Absolutely-No-Idea-you’d-be-here-today. Here, have a FREE autographed, lip stick printed photo of me with my phone and dorm room number number on it! I should be back in my dorm by five. Alone. And taking a shower. The door will be unlocked. And I If You see some creep wearing a chess club tee-shirt standing door , POUND HIM! He’s been BOTHERING Me. Okay Sweetie?”

Seth, the big kid – “*Free?!!?* I thought you said those pics were $10 bucks EACH, Miss TEAFANNY??”

This is just sad and painful to watch. I think all of Tiffany’s problems go back to her driving need for her fatjer’s attentions. Since she’s now lost that she’s using any means necessary to get attention from everyone else, including those little kids. She doesn’t really care about THEM , just the adoration they give her. Women like this are interesting. I feel sorry for her but yet anyone who reaches out and tries to be her friend will just wind up getting used and put down because she’s so competitive and longing for attention.

Dad is going to love what the kid brought home from kindergarten – mommy not so much.

My daily ritual starts about 0430. Coffee, the comics This one and bloom county and off to the gym. I am going to change it. I just can’t take the writing anymore. I need to feel invested in the characters. I need a reason to include them in my daily ritual. Don’t get me wrong, I am not looking for deep intellectual stimulation, just a chuckle. I just can’t have lingerie photos being given to 5 year old kids though. Come on. It’s just too silly. I have enjoyed the comments section. Thanks folks.

8:17 Denver time and only 77 comments? Had this been a Monday strip, I’d have taken a week vacation right there! Eladee said it all: “This is just sad and painful to watch.”

In spite of what Mordecai and his mob say, Tiff still commands any scene. Last panel today: Tiffany sparkles, Luann looks like a Basset Hound. Tiff’s philosophy (if she knew what that was) could be, “Don’t leave them in love, leave them in awe.”

Monday: The Surprise Guest appears!!!

After this strip I’m thinking the Tiffany character has regressed more than reverted. Psychologically, a little different. Thing is, which one Greg is trying to convey!?!?

Luann has to do something. The kindergarten can have serious trouble for those photos.

Tiffany is going to throw A LOT of boys into puberty-mode with that slinky picture! They’ll be hiding it in a crack in their wall I bet! (As a preteen I had a small slit in my mattress to use.)

Yesterday I predicted a 50/50 chance that the “special guest” would appear today. Well, I was half right. (LOL) It’s highly likely they will appear Monday but NOT certain. We could even be off into a new arc. (Honeymoon? Prego Toni? NAW!)

One would hope that the “guest” would have been Mrs. Fogerty and that she brought her intervention manual with her.

I really miss the old Tiffany. Bring her back!!!!!

Tired after being on two planes for about 15 hours, but Tiffany should not show her “model” picture to the kids, and Luann probably will “check” her on that, but we still have not seen the special guest, I am even more convinced that it will be Jack, the dog whisperer, and this is just the best time for him to show up.

Next week – Brad and TJ finish destroying the house in their remodeling effort? After all, “two doofuses knock down walls” has got to be at least as good for laughs as “two doofuses hold a garage sale”, right?

I am sure some dads will take that picture from their kid and throw it away. In the garage. Or in their man cave. Or…

I think back to the time Tiffany was trying to sell photos and my beloved Luann bought one. Afterward someone asked how many she had sold and my beloved Tiffany admitted, “One.”

Wow! Today’s episode holds many possibilities. Since it is Tiffany, we should not be too surprised at the inappropriate behaviors. But I really did not expect this. Several observations:

(1). Never in my memory has Tiffany shown she cared a great deal about children in general other than the episode with Shannon and then I sensed it was a way to fluff her own aura, polish her ego. Bottom line: Tiffany does NOT like children. That is why the principal removed her from the classroom to the office.(2). Handing out anything questionable to the children by anyone but the teacher or principal is forbidden in Texas and I believe in other states as well. So it is Luann’s job to call Tiffany on this. Does she have the maturity and emotional strength to do it? This warrants a severe reprimand from the administrator and possibly loss of a job. (3). This was not an accidental mistake of picking up the wrong photos. She knew exactly what she was doing. (4). The mystery guest is probably Jack, and I rather imagine the story will tie together several of the recent facets like Jack modeling for the art classes, Tiffany becoming a model, Jack’s interest in vet school, and of course Tiffany trying to establish a relationship with Jack. (5). Regarding the development of sexual awareness of children: The comments reveal a variety of opinions about children and sex. I’m not much of an advocate of Freud, but he did identify stages of development. Children 3 to 5 are aware of sexual differences and the oedipal and electra complexes are common behaviors or attitudes. Most children, however, are simply curious but don’t dwell on the differences. A few do. Much depends on home experiences and the mental health of the adults in their lives. Tiffany handing out photos that hint at being too revealing is not appropriate. (6). Re loving or hating Tiffany: To me she is the villainess we love to hate. She is desperate for love but trips over her own efforts to be liked.

Suddenly, the ‘Pizza Kid’ is like: “I don’t WANT pizza, NOW!!” ;)

This is kinda odd. Why would Tiffany bring her glam photos to the kids’ daycare place?

Leaving aside the question of why she would care about getting adulation from clueless little tykes …

What’s up with this “job”? If I recall correctly, the middle-aged man who runs the place hired Tiff to do “filing”. That’s a pretty trailing-edge job, and I can’t imagine there would be all that much filing to do. And why would a poor-little-rich-girl-with-Daddy-issues want to spend her time at such a boring, dead-end job that has nothing to do with her dreams and ambitions or even her aptitudes? And a lonely job too – stuck in an office with no one to talk to but a middle-aged man who’s probably married and has kids.

And why bring her ooh-la-la “French Maid” glam photos – the ones that by popular opinion would drive healthy young men wild? Who’s she going to show them to? Certainly not her boss, who’s old enough to be her father.

It just doesn’t add up. Does it?

With her arm disappearing behind the photo, it almost looks like the picture Tiffany is a hand puppet for the real Tiff.

That’s too much cheesecake Tiffany.

Ha ha, these days with all the ‘Celebrity-Starlet-Performer-Model-Wannabe Actress-“Musician/Singer”-Performer (And in reality, just attention/fame seeker)’s out there, Tiffany seems to be just the character to ‘lampoon’ it. You’da thunk Paris Hilton’s schtick would have been the ‘end-all, be-all’, when Tiffany was Sheraton St.Louis’….but these days have seen many more crawling out of the woodwork…. seemingly culminating in the currently biggest offnders, and the Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gammas Quadrants’ biggest menace: “The Kardashian Empire”.

Some parts of Tiffany are new; some are the same ol’. G&K will just keep us guessing as to what changes she will make going forward. I’m guessing that working in the front office, Tiff will greet Luann’s special guest next week.PS. This ‘love yourself’ stuff is a bit over the top. Tiffany has always loved herself, at least physically. If there is another part (of her) that she favors I hope to find out. She’s still a little bit too into herself to be able to relate effectively to others, especially children.

Well, the Tiffany we got to know and “love” is back….

That’s not a “headshot,” Tiffster; but I’m not complaining, and I suspect the kids won’t, either. Their parents is another matter….

Wow. Just sad. I thought that Tiffany was maturing with much self-reflection. That came to an end rather quickly. Such a shame.
