Where’s the “Do it yourself” section?

Neither of them have it right.

Well politics has become dark humor.

You had me at “HUMOR / POLITICS”

Note the title of the book the lady is holding.

As a man, I’ve seen and heard of more than a few books by men, describing “all men” as something vile, repugnant, repulsive, and not at all like myself nor many of the men I know of through work and family. I’m sure that more than a few women here are aware of similar books by women, about “all women”. Now, a book about either sex, from someone who knows what they’re talking about, by either sex, is a rubber chicken of a different color.

Analysis of people by people who are always staring at their cell phones.

humor and politics in the same section—-great pairing—-except “it ain’t funny, mcgee!”

The politics section should be moved to the other side of the check out counter.

Good Lord, it’s like a whole different sex or somethin.

I would say one mislabeling: it should be “Horror/Politics”

And a very large section of “Analysis of Women by Ghostwriters” at the back…

With an Abnormal Studies section, there would have been at least one comment about Trump by now.

I believe fiction, humor, and romance could all apply to that section. Especially fiction.

Accurate when one considers that many get their political news from comedians.

Politics is a joke !

If you would like to read something good pick up Dr. Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life. Then after reading it listen/watch some of this lectures on Youtube. His writing is for and about all people not just women or men.

Has “place of speech” come to humor or is it the other way around? :-)

This is why I prefer men commenting to women about how men tend to think. But women commenting on women? Heck, I don’t even understand women sometimes!

Like the way the sign Abnormal Studies is centered over the men/women books. Might call it Absurd Studies, except that I know there are some truly thoughtful writers on both sides, struggling to make sense of that most convoluted of relationships.

However, if not for those convolutions, humorists and comedians would have nothing to talk about except politics. That would be about equal to being left in the kitchen of a convention center to wash all the dishes by hand. Bo-o-o-o-o-ring.

Shouldn’t the “Politics” section be either under “Horror” or “Fiction”?

I suppose I could make a joke about how men don’t understand women, so the “analysis of women by men” section should be impossible.

I was fired from a book store, for moving the bibles to the fiction section.

I love reading the headlines on the magazines at the check out counter. Some of the women’s magazines have articles like, “What men really think about sex.” Usually by a female author.

Unfortunately, people tend to choose books (and media) that they think will support and validate their own beliefs.

Abnormal Studies. Where you’ll find the Trump books.

Leave to Wiley to put humor and politics on the same shelf.

Romance/Fiction would be another good mix of sections.

Romance/Horror would be another combination.
