Oh good! I was afraid this lovely panel wasn’t going to make it into the story arc this time around. I love the Teamwork poster! Good to see Sir Fig. Does this mean the shelves report will finally be aired?
It appears we still have a missing white sock with red polka dots, or are they hearts?
Natasha lying on her belly, head in hands, watching the tube. Do we all have the same pattern on our ironing boards? That one looks awfully familiar. This scene is idyllic and relaxing, in spite of the sergeant major on the right, barking orders.
There’s only one panel today, but there’s so much to love. Sir Figaro at the coffee machine, the patch on his jacket elbow (very professorial), the snacks, the bowl of kibble on the table. (And of course, all the things people have already mentioned). It is indeed nice to have a breakroom! May it be much used! (Just not during broadcasts). (Hint, hint Puck! Don’t be late!)
Es bueno sintonizar con Gato News de vez en cuando para obtener una perspectiva nueva / diferente. Ese ancla de plomo, Tabitha, es una fuerza a tener en cuenta.
I bring good tidings! According to the GP it’s nothing worrisome. It’s some kind of freaky blister disease they see more and more lately and should be a lot better in a week if you keep it fatty. If the dental surgery goes as well tomorrow, I’m very pleased. Many thanks for everything.
Happy Funday, orbsters and orbabies! Are those Natasha’s ears, or did she faint from the suspense of having to wait for next week’s episode? And Elvis, keep your pants on, the closing credits are running. Puck and Burt will be ready to go in a minute.
Brein43 updateWell, guys, as some of you know I was captive in the hospital for about 10 days undergoing some interior remodeling. They sprung me Saturday, 1/19 when I was able to demonstrate that food was again moving from north to south past the bowel splice. Thank you again to all in The Orb-I had some limited access to the web and the messages cheered me immensely.
Last week the pathology reports came back and they were less cheerful. In the surgery they removed all the obsolete organs plus anything that looked like it may be hanging around and up to no good. They took out the tumor which had been bullying and ( literally !) pushing around the otherwise innocent organs. Almost everything tested positive for cancer, microscopic or otherwise, including 5 of 8 lymph nodes removed. Diagnosis is an aggressive and uncommon stage 4 ovarian cancer, clear cell type. I have a few weeks to recuperate then we launch chemo in mid-Feb. On the plus side, having lost at least 25 pounds I can once again get in to those college jeans I have been dragging around the country. I fully intend to beat the odds on this-I am only 56 and otherwise in excellent health. Please do keep those purrs, boops, and good wishes coming, just in case. I am presently undergoing intensive kitty therapy at home, in a rented hospital bed the girls think is excellent cat furniture.
Onyx update: The Dreaded V.E.T. gave her glucosamine & wants sis to give her a baby aspirin every other day to help with her arthritis. The really AWSUM news is that since she’s been on the all canned food diet, her fructosamine (kitty equivalent of A1c) is NORMAL! No stabbies! Gushyf00dz FTW! =^..^=
Sky’s been getting aspirin every other day for his heart (along with a daily human heart medication since he was 7.) He’s now 16, going on 17, and shows no sign of arthritis (I’ve been watching) Either he doesn’t have arthritis or maybe its the aspirin. He’s pretty spry!

The old cat on the soap… his “my heart” sthick reminds me of a classic TV line.

So we aren’t going to find out whether Captain Nimble survived the onslaught of the dreaded shelves?
Not that I care. I’m not interested in that drivel.

Sir Figaro needs to be careful not to splash coffee on his suit.

If that’s not decaf, don’t let Lupin at it. Not if they’re live in five.
