Ah, so maybe Goldie won’t take on a reporter’s role, despite being part of the household – she’ll be their story finder! And then the boys can report on her investigations!
I’m really concerned, and broke.. the last day of so my indoor cat Purrsha has been snuffling and quick sneezing.. she’s a little lethargic but will eat her treats.. she turned her nose up at her new “better for you with protein” 9 lives today (same brand, different flavor) but she IS drinking water. Seems she has a cold but I don’t know how to treat her or help her feel better?? I’m a little freaked out that she could die if I don’t take her to the vet, which as I mentioned I can’t afford at the moment.. advice pretty please??
When lawn type grass goes dormant, it turns brown and looks dead but all it takes is a good soaking of rain for it to green up again. I have no experience with cat grass.
As much as I love the Boys (and I do adore the Boys), it’s nice to have a day with the kitty ladies. Hmmm, I wonder if there’s a story that will bring Sophie, Baba, Tabitha, Goldie and Beatrix all together.
Obviously they’ve never dealt with Zoysia grass. It’s a perennial & in a drought or under cold conditions that stuff turns brown & looks dead – a neighbor’s lawn around the corner from here always looks dead – but it’s pretty much unkillable.
Happy Pluto Day! (The astronomical object, not the god of the underworld, and most certainly not the dog.) I disagree with it’s demotion! In my opinion, any celestial body with sufficient mass that gravity pulls it into spherical shape, and that orbits (or perhaps orbited) a star, is a planet. Yes, that makes our Moon a planet, and it should. The Moon does not orbit the Earth. Both Moon and Earth orbit the gravitational center of their combined mass. (Actually more complex than that, but we won’t go into details.) So Earth-Moon is a binary planet system—just like Pluto and its moon Charon!
Ironic that the god of the underworld, Pluto, was also the god of wealth.
Grass grows from the base up. It’s perfectly possible for grass stalks to be withered and dead while the plant is still alive. That’s why it can be grazed without killing the plant.
I’m happy to report that “Snoot Boops of History” came from the Man! I was working on this strip, trying out book titles and nothing was quite clicking. I called to him, “Hey, what’s a good name for a cat book?” He thought for a moment, grinned, said this out loud and we both laughed hard enough that this had to be it. I will let him know it’s a hit!
Well, it could be resurrection grass. Never heard of such a thing, but I suppose it’s possible. Might be something like the resurrection fern species Pleopeltis polypodioides.
Hi all,To all who remember my sis Shaunnmunn, she asked me to let you know that she totally mentally crashed and burned last week. It was due to several physical and mental conditions all coming together at the same time and completely overwhelming her. A side note to Bri, Kat and Sheila, she would appreciate letters from you but is not sure she is up to replying right now. I would appreciate prayers and well wishes from the Orb, and I send them back to all of you. Thank you, Lori

Did Beatrix draw that visual aid? Has she been taking lessons from Sophie or is it from a reference book there in the bookstore?

All right. gang. Looks like we have another mystery on our hands. Also, why does Gocomics put a red line under words that are spelled perfectly fine?

…maybe there’s a bit in there about cats historically being treated as villains? =(

Georiga, write a BCN extended universe book named “Snoot Boops of History”. It would immediately be a bestseller.
