Well done Detective. Might I suggest a utility belt, cowl and black cape for the next adventure? Oh, and perhaps a disguise for your ward, Beatrix. And wouldn’t Pucky make an excellent and dedicated Butler?
We are surrounded by slightly fewer boxes than we were the other day. There’s still a fair amount of cleanup to do in the old apartment (and only four days in which to do it) but it is progressing.
The MIL is back in Denver, presumably quietly seething at how ineffectual her various hints about moving into our third bedroom proved to be.
I have my regularly-scheduled monthly appointment with my pain doc today and will be talking with her about getting that followup nerve ablation that was originally planned for when I returned from Ohio after Thanksgiving.
And, to bring the post back on-topic, Maverick and Ember are adapting to their new surroundings. As well, last night Ember let the Boy play his favorite game with her: perching her on his shoulder. She was, understandably, a little leery every time he went to pick her up considering that the last time he did so, she ended up inside a carrier. We’re also waiting to see what happens once she sees the two black cats who patrol the yard across the street.
Hi everyone. I might not be a regular commenter, but I read these comics daily and I just wanted to tell you guys that today is my birthday! I hope all of you are doing well. <3
I know this is way off topic, but is anyone interested in helping my son’s school band program raise money for operating costs? They receive 500 dollars a year in funding from the school system, and they have to raise the rest themselves. The money raised will go towards purchasing new instruments, repairing old ones, and purchasing books and supplies for three concert bands (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), and a jazz band.
Here’s a link if anyone would like to donate:https://www.snap-raise.com/v2/fundraisers/karns-middle-school-band-2019-2?fundraiser_id=115545#/
Let’s face it: logical reasoning is not Lupin’s strong point! Goofy antics is Lupin’s thing. Bring out the Boy and Fluffapurrus Rex! The ceiling is a floor, too!
I just returned from the endodontist, and he was able to successfully do whatever it is they do to seal the tooth root in a root canal. One of the roots went all the way into the sinus cavity. Another one took a sharp right turn just before the sinus. As soon as that’s healed, I’ll need a permanent crown. There goes my tax refund and more!
I know he is mad about his recorder but I also think he is jealous, as he had to watch her tangle with the critters while he was stuck behind the windows. And what self respecting cat wants to be upstaged by a female feline?

No particular tune
Oh, Lupin where did you go?
Where’s that mischievous kitty we used to know?
We miss your adventures,
We miss them so,
Please Lupin, where did you go?
…….
Happy Lupin is not to be seen,
Goldie did not mean to be mean,
You are angry, that much is clear,
Don’t find a white surface,
And disappear!
…….
You know we still love you,
Your friends all do, too,
Please come back to us,
The cat we all knew,
We want to know what happens next,
With the return of Fluf Rex!
…….
Oh Lupin, we miss you, you see
So do Elvis, and Pucky and Bea,
Talk to Goldie, tell her you are mad
Then everyone will be glad!
Lupin, it’s not really so bad!!

Let’s bring both antagonists to the table
Goldie: Lupin, why are you so mad?
I did nothing so bad, at least I don’t think so.
Can you please tell me why, I’ll make it up to you, I’ll try
But why you are mad I don’t know!
…….
Lupin You stole something from me, and then used it with glee,
Then you didn’t return it at once,
When I have good thought, I have been well taught
To record it as good thoughts do pounce.
And then you were so cute in trench coat that suits,
Everyone made a fuss over you,
But the loss was all mine, while you just did fine,
And that’s why I am angry at you.
…….
Goldie: Oh, Lupin please, try to understand,
I never meant to hurt you,
I’ll ask but I won’t demand,
Let me know what to do!
…….
Lupin: I don’t know, I’m still mad,
But some day I’ll be glad,
I’m sure things will be okay,
But not right away,
Maybe tomorrow, but not today!

What are your favorite marches?

I posted my voice-over choices in Ms. Dunn’s yesterday’s post, but just in case:
OK, now for Voice Over choices! This is right in my wheelhouse! So here we go!:
Elvis: Dana Snyder (Master Shake, Dr. Colosso of The Thundermans), or Mark Hamill (many roles)
Lupin: Scott Menville (Robin of Teen Titans, many others), or Tom Kenny (Spongebob, Narrator and Mayor on The Powerpuff Girls)
Puck: Khary Payton (a toned-down version of Cyborg of Teen Titans, Aqualad of Young Justice)
Goldie: Mae Whitman (April O’Neil of TMNT, and Katara of The Last Airbender), or an outside chance with Amy Poehler
Tommy: Kevin Michael Richardson (many roles), or possibly John DiMaggio (Jake the Dog of Adventure Time)
Beatrix: Kristen Schaal (Louise of Bob’s Burgers and Mabel of Gravity Falls)
Burt: Rob Paulsen (Donatello of TMNT)
Sophie: Jean Smart (Designing Women, The Oblongs)
And, Baba Mouse: Dana Snyder (Granny Cuyler of Squidbillies), or Tara Strong (Raven of Teen Titans)
Trevor: Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern Jon Stewart, and Samurai Jack)
Robber Mice: Charlie Adler (Cow and Chicken, plus others)
Tillie (The Ghost Cat): Tara Strong (Raven of Teen Titans)
Thimblefist: Jim Cummings (Darkwing Duck, and many others)
Then, The Woman: Caroline Rhea (the mother on Phineas and Ferb)
The Man: Dee Bradley Baker (many roles)
And finally: Buzzy Mouse: Greg Cipes (Beast Boy of Teen Titans) – just reverb the voice as he speaks inwardly.
