Frank certainly does not seem sad to see her go.

Another Schulz moment, last frame.

Bon Voyage, Pru. I enjoyed having you on the strip.

Tomorrow; exiting the house. Wednesday; while approaching her ride she’ll be waylaid by the Fuse crowd on the front lawn much weeping and other comments will occur. Thursday; Pru will be seen driving off in her “ride.” Friday; Fuse crowd will bid a weepy farewell to each other. Saturday; Luann will ask Frank if that’s a load bearing wall between her room and Pru’s and how much effort it would take to expand her room.

Looks like that “toot” scared the wall purple (panel 3). :)

Women can be more emotional in expression than men, at least that is how this sweet farewell scene is drawn; but is this a scene that will take the week to finish? Is the ride an Uber? A taxi? No Millennials, I forgot. Somethings in the wind I think.

Who’s her ride? Quill?

Farewell might be spread over a week. Frank looks startled by the outburst of emotional sadness in Panel #3. He was smiling in panel #1 and #2. Nancy and Luann must had a familial relationship with Prudence.

Ugh.

Toot sound might be a sport car. Ann Eiffel owns a sport car.

Good friends are a true treasure.

You don’t normally see characters depart this strip with any sort of actual fanfare. (Toot, indeed!) Usually they just stop showing up.

Thank goodness my robot torso is made of titanium – otherwise, will all this bawling, I might rust.

Who’s going to be the new bartender? The Evanses seem to be clearing the way for a new character.

Oh, c’mon Frank – it won’t kill you to give her a little hug goodbye.

They didn’t end it Saturday for a reason. Pru will be back.

So will Pru also give a “tearful” good by to her fellow employees at the Fuse?

By the way. So far, NO “wedding invitations.”

My guess is out in front of the DeGroot’s house. Pru has called an Uber or a taxi and it has just pulled up. Probably going to take her to the airport.

I guess this is the way they kill characters off in Luann. Pru’s character never really developed into anything. Greg could have never mentioned her again and we would never had noticed.

My wife and daughter fought constantly when my daughter was a teen. We moved to another city 1000 miles away, and the day after we arrived there, who shows up at the front door? My daughter of course. Her and her boyfriend drove all the way just to see mom. When she left, both girls were in tears. Don’t ask me to explain. I can’t, I’m a guy.

…and the ride is Jonah.

I didn’t know that fighter jets went “toot”.

“We’ll miss you, Pru. Hope you find your eyebrows in New York! Oh, and a second dimension for your character would be nice, too. "

Since our dear girl in reverting to NYC she’s also reverting to those outrageous hats from Nov. 2015. Else no one would recognize her, I guess.

They’re THAT weepy?? She was only in about 2 story arcs…

Do people actually cry like this when saying goodbye? I’ve moved a lot and I don’t think I’ve ever been this emotional. Am I without soul?

So, minority characters are problematic in comics? Try being the minority character. That’s why having representation in media is so important. It helps normalize us. I’m feeling quite let down. One minute I’m happy to see someone “like me”, the next minute I see we just are not going to deal with it.

So, go already.

People don’t actually say “farewell”, do they? It’s a noun, OK, but isn’t performative.

I am seriously going to mourn the loss of one of the more interesting characters in recent memory. Bets is a pain in the you-know-what and we don’t see enough of Jack and Niles. I was really hoping to see more of Pru and to watch her character develop.

What is the trope when the artist gets lazy and puts all the women in the same clothes except with different colors?

That wasn’t weepy. Their sweaters just needed Washing.

R.I.P. Honor Blackman, Goldfinger’s “Pussy Galore” , amongst other roles.

Sniff. Leaves me missing Pru already! And she’s technically not even gone yet!

Pru is kind of a nothing character as we didn’t get much of her. However, I have a feeling she will come back later in with a pivotal role for one of the main cast.
