Racism is so ingrained in the American culture of white privilege that when people protest against racism some of the Americans most privileged think they are protesting against America.

When a president is so insecure that he has to hide in bunkers and behind protective barriers, comforting the bone spurs that are suddenly acting up again, and trying to wage war against PEACEFUL American citizens, peaceably assembling to petition the government for a redress of grievances — a right enshrined by specific reference in the First Amendment — it is a failed presidency that is reduced to a legacy of violence against its own citizens, and on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre when another tyrannical government waged war against its own citizens in PEACEABLE assembly.

In his inauguration, Trump promised to end “this American carnage” (of peace and prosperity he had inherited from Obama). Instead, he has replaced Obama’s peace and prosperity with a true American carnage and now even his own former top advisors have broken their silence and condemned Trump as the threat to the Constitution that he is.

Trump does, indeed, see most citizens of the United States as “the enemy”. He feels the same way about the Constitution, the Rule of Law, honesty integrity, etc. That’s probably why he called Putin last week.

Keeping things in perspective with this week’s installment of …

     World Records in Ball Dropping

2001-08-06 • Presidential Daily Brief: “Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US” • Bush did nothing.

    2001-09-11 • 5 weeks after PDB • 9/11 attacks • Death toll: 2,977

2020-01-07 • Presidential Daily Brief: “Analysts concluded [coronavirus] could be a cataclysmic event.” • Trump did nothing.

    2020-03-11 • WHO declared a global pandemic.

2020-04-15 • Trump suspended US funding of WHO.

    2020-06-07 • 21 weeks after PDB • US death toll: 112,096*

    For comparison • Korean War (33,686) + Vietnam War (58,220) + Afghan War (7,970): 99,876

    Future targets • WW1 (116,516) • WW2 (418,500) • Civil War (~620,000)

*For those of you whose math skills are a little rusty, imagine each dead body on 9/11, then line up 37 more beside it.

… anOther take on this cartoon:

    Wishful Thinking – {4 beats/line}

We the People are erecting a wall

from which our Humpty Trumpty will fall,

and then he’ll have to slither and crawl

    and sneakily secretly furtively slink

to return to his hole like a slimy skink,

and at last be gone from us once and for all.

    [{ … Alas:This rhyme is just wishful thinking. – Trump’ll take us ALL down when he falls, and even THEN his Trumpism won’t be gone forevermore. }]. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The False Prophet CORRUPTOR keeps trying, and I am sure there are those who have become so immersed or so insecure about admitting having erred that they will never admit that electing him and following him are wrong. I have to wonder wonder how many of those people would ease into making more logical and moral choices in November if they regularly reminded themselves of the childhood saying, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

Fire William Barr immediately. He has no powers to direct police actions and is responsible for the debacle at the church. This can not be tolerated (except by the GOP).

By Peter Baker•Jan. 15, 2019•oThe first time Putin and Trump met was in Germany. President Trump took his interpreter’s notes afterward and ordered him not to disclose what he heard to anyone. Later that night, at a dinner, Mr. Trump pulled up a seat next to President Vladimir V. Putin to talk without any American witnesses at all.Their third encounter was in Vietnam when Mr. Trump seemed to take Mr. Putin’s word that he had not interfered in American elections. A formal summit meeting followed in Helsinki, Finland, where the two leaders kicked out everyone but the interpreters. Most recently, they chatted in Buenos Aires after Mr. Trump said they would not meet because of Russian aggression.Mr. Trump has adamantly insisted there was “no collusion” with Russia during his 2016 presidential campaign. But each of the five times he has met with Mr. Putin since taking office, he has fueled suspicions about their relationship. The unusually secretive way he has handled these meetings has left many in his own administration guessing what happened and piqued the interest of investigators.“What’s disconcerting is the desire to hide information from your own team,” said Andrew S. Weiss, who was a Russia adviser to President Bill Clinton. “The fact that Trump didn’t want the State Department or members of the White House team to know what he was talking with Putin about suggests it was not about advancing our country’s national interest but something more problematic.”

Things are getting to look more and more fascist every day. Now, Barr has created his own crew of black shirts to act as a moving wall the protect the prez from the people. And their party, the Repubs, look the other way in support of it all. It’s time the Repub party went the way of the Nazi party of long ago.

CBS just interviewed Barr, and as she’s showing him the video of tear gas (yes, that’s what it was! ) roiling around in the crowd, he continued to state “there was no gas”. I was a CBR NCO and Battalion training NCO in the Army, so yes I DO know what “pepper” is – another tear agent.

Tяцmp☠ is in prison, the White House Prison, already. It’s clear that he hates being president, hates America, and indeed hates the World. He can’t even look out the window of the “government housing” he already occupies without being forcefully reminded of the fact that he can’t go anywhere, even “home,” even his rallies (claverns), and be welcome. Worse for him though is his future. Tяцmp☠ has to know that the instant he’s no longer president he’ll charged and arrested for an infinity of felonies both state and Federal. So he can’t just quit. He’s effectively imprisoned already in the pig sty that he’s created that once was the hallowed White House. So sad for Donnie, so dire for the rest of us. Maybe he’ll try to run and hide with his Daddy Vladdy Putin, but that will at best just be another kind of prison for him…

He is only able to see the world as a place where HE wins… or loses. And he HATES losing. And he only feels like a winner if someone else actually LOSES.

It’s really very sad that his mind is so limited and small.
