Could we be so lucky as to get a whole interview with a Very Good Boy who wanted to ride in the car? I would so follow a comic about Trevor if there was a spinoff.
Wait…don’t vets use an injection needle to insert microchips into cats and dogs? Is the vet secretly working with Bill Gates and George Soros to put microchips in all the People?! Somebody call Tucker Carlson and The My-Pillow-Guy! (☺*snort and snicker*☺)♥
Awwwwwwwwwww! Trevor is such a good boy! One of our vets had a cute cartoon posted in the office…..interior of a car, dog in front seat with head out of window saying “oh boy, oh boy, a ride!” And a cat in back seat with all legs clinging to the seat back saying “I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die!!!” PSA…cats should always travel in a sturdy carrier.
Mickey went to the vet yesterday with facial swelling that was determined to be a combination of: irritation in the neck area due to an adverse reaction to the metal on his new collar, and a bump/slight bruise on his snout due to what we presume to be an adverse reaction to his existence by Maverick.
In either event, the vet called me with his findings and mentioned that I might want to wait until the morning to provide his first dose of NSAIDs because some dogs get carsick and you don’t want to give it to him and then have it exit his system shortly thereafter. Yeah, no, Mickey associates the van with puppacinos at Starbucks, hanging out with the staff at Petsmart, and … we’ve recently learned … hanging out with The Boy’s girlfriend and her three-year-old daughter. Car rides are decidedly not a negative experience for him.
(To be clear, we learned about The Girlfriend, her daughter, and Mickey’s adoration of them all at the same time over this past weekend. They’ve apparently been seeing each other since January.)
Years ago, when my mom in the hospital, my dad gave her a teddy bear. George the teddy bear was a great comfort to her as she recovered. Many years later my cousin Ruthie was in the hospital, and my mom gave her George as a companion. Ruthie gave George to her daughter when she was expecting her first child. To this day, George has been there for my family members when they need a recovery buddy.

At least Trevor knows who’s a good boy. I’m pretty sure the BCN crew is still researching that.

It’s either for distemper or cat flu, Elvis.

Obviously, the vets are practicing on people in order to perfect their techniques for the only clients who really matter, the cats.

I hope it was a ten-passenger van, Trevor.

So, Elvis, all of a sudden he’s “your vet” instead of the usual “the vet.”

Only Tommy can pull off a Hawaiian shirt with a bow tie.

Trevor, you are the best of all the good boys, and you definitely deserve a car ride.
DorseyBelle over 3 years ago
Yup, that’s how you get any dog in the car: “Good boy (or girl) want to go for a ride?”

Trevor is, after all, a d*g. I don’t hold it against him, because of his species, but he has a compulsion to please.

Our dog jumped in any car, through any open window to go for a ride. Windows closed, trunk open? Not a problem, he jumped in the trunk to wait.
