    True art has a truly elevated purpose, which is beyond the reach of commoners and peasants. It is to add to the asset class of the super-rich. I bid $3m for the ‘vertical red BS’ on the far left.

    Sorry, it isn’t abstract. I would categorize it as Pop Art. (There is a level on which all art – including dance, music, photography, etc. is an abstraction… Most of my students didn’t understand that. Most of them didn’t know what the word abstract means.)
