I love the symbolism of the two volcanoes for the WTC and the four birds for the four jets that were involved. Very meaningful.

I was in the middle of a week-long camping trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains. We were near Donner Pass which is a major flight corridor for general aviation aircraft, but the skies were disturbingly silent the last few days (all planes grounded).

Too right. If I go back to NJ, I won’t be able to go to Eagle Rock Park again. It was the place in West Orange from which I could see the Towers. I lost two friends that day.

I still remember where I was – El Sobrante, CA.

I received a phone call shortly after it happened from a member of our local Amateur Radio club here and they wanted me to go to

our E.O.C. in town. (Emergency Operations Center) I was manning a seat there in the communications part of the building that hadHF radios and 2-meter radios and equipped with even microwave. It has a huge tower outside in the back. I stayed there for severalhours on the 80 meter band in communication with another station in Olympia, WA. They wanted to keep in touch with what was going on over here on the Eastern side of the State. Mostly they wanted everyone to stay where they were at. I handled quite a few messages that day and most all of them were mostly welfare checks… What was very strange to me was there were absolutely noaircraft flying anywhere to be seen for a long time after…

In the other part of the building, there is a huge TV screen and digital clocks on each side of the situation room. Needless to say, there

was much activity going on that day, and the room was heavily manned with people of importance… Looking back on it all, I’m glad I was able to play a small part in the Emergency activities here in the State of Washington on that fateful day.

I wonder what their 9/11 day was like back in B.C. history? It wasn’t the comet strike that wiped out all their dinosaurs, was it?

Remember the days? Too sad. Too many. Pearl Harbor, Hiroshima, JFK, 9/11, and the list goes on.

Prayers for the fallen, the responders, and their families.

We were not united before or after. Within days of the attack, the same old divisions came roaring back. I remember being at a vigil for the victims that very week, and it turned into opposing political screeds.

NEA has corrupted our students from pre-k through HS and then the professors of the ‘higher’ education finished the job! China has been slowly working its destructive forces little by little, increasing itself more and more. They hate America’s ways – and now stirred up our young people with their ideologies about equality, LGBTQ…, 57 genders, gender awareness, BLM, etc. and created all this conflict so that we would destroy ourselves. When they get final control and get our guns – they will simply kill off any and all who won’t tow the line with communism.

I was at a mine in Kentucky, when I got a call to come to the office (I was the manager). The TV was on and the first plane had struck a few minutes before. As we were watching the 2nd plane hit. I remember commenting, “We are now at war, I don’t know with who, but this will be answered.”

On the one hand, it is sad but I don’t know that we’ve EVER been one – On the other hand, in some countries they are forced (or at least tried to be forced) by the government to think and act as one….“being one” is not always a good thing.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to see where they were, because in the September 11, 2001 strip, the Apteryx (sp?) was telling the turtle that the reason he was giving such a menacing look was because he was practicing to be a predator, and when the turtle asked why, he said it was because he couldn’t afford to go to law school. Haw haw haw.

I remember where I was/ We were living with my parents due to both of us losing our job because of business, that we both worked, had closed. I came downstairs that morning and my Mom was on the phone with her sister in Florida and she was crying so hard and I thought something happened to my aunt but Mom also had tv on and I asked her what was going on and she told me, this was right before the second tower was hit, and I fell into the chair and started crying along with them and then the second tower was hit and I fell to the floor in disbelief. My Mom and her sister where so upset thinking that they were never going to see each other again. We watched the news reports all day and night and when towers fell it was like your heart exploded. The next day the news was still broadcasting about it and kept showing the towers being hit and falling and I had to stop watching because it was making my panic/anxiety disorder and depression go into high gear and I was afraid of a plane crashing on us and all of us dying. To this day when I see pictures I still choke up and I can’t watch any programs about it but I keep all the ones who lost their lives in my prayers. NEVER FORGET!!!!!!
