By 18 months old, kids usually have all their teeth and they like to bite. Fortunately for John, he has more than one leg.

Well, John, better discipline her before sending her to a daycare or preschool where she might bite other kids. My grandson was that kid.

You can’t hide like that behind a cell phone. Newspapers win again!

My 13 month old niece has also discovered her teeth. Approach with caution.

Imagine playing peekaboo using your hands covering your face and still get bitten by a toddler before you can the opportunity to uncover your face.

Good grief, that was a CHOMP!

Note to self….“Does NOT play well with others!”

I don’t remember biting people or objects, but I did bite my nails until halfway through high school.

My little sister liked to bite the dog’s tail. Luckily, she only went for the few inches on the end ~ all hair, no dog.

Not good to lie to children – might not like the results

I’m thinking somebody taught someone a lesson there, but I’m not sure which way it went.

Lying to kids can be dangerous.

I don’t recommend lying to adults, either. (There are those who disagree.)

I went to pick up my daughter from day-care and was told she had bitten a boy….who had bitten her first. She had had shots in both legs the day before and was not feeling well, but that was the last time he bit her. He went on to go to the same elementary school and that kid was a hellion-because his single mother would not do the least thing to control him, and she was in the discipline committee just to keep him from getting thrown out. My daughter told me several years later about his pregnant teacher dragging him kicking and screaming to the principals’ office after throwing a plate of spaghetti at said teacher. I bet he’s been trouble all of his life.

In reality this kid has grown up too fast!

Biting children is a bad thing, not “cute-sy” like it is being implied here. Nip (pun) it in the bud, Bud!

He deserved it for lying to her.

That is too funny, but dad and mom need to talk with April, as another poster stated biting other kids who ignore.

I have a cat that does this when you don’t pay attention to her.

I wonder where the perfect children are, that were/are raised by all the critics of this strip.

That made me actually laugh out loud!

April causing pain and suffering to get her way? She’s Elly’s daughter, all right!

I mean, she’s not wrong…

Not one of these panels feels the SLIGHTEST BIT believable. And when you lose all believability, any speck of residual “cuteness” is also lost.
