That’s what Spencer does!!! And never in just ONE spot – not he has to hit at least three different places!!! I’ve bought a special plate that slows him down some, but than he bugs me all day long for more food, because the plate doesn’t hold enough. Sigh.

Our katie is prone to throwing up. It’s like she can’t hold down her food. She has to have an injection every couple of months and she can only eat special canned food we buy from the vet. She makes a sort of momma cry before she throws up and I have to run over and move her onto the linoleum before she throws up on the carpet, or even worse my bedsheets ( where she spends most of the day).

Looks like Lupin is following suit. On the horrible lino, or are the carpets doomed?

All is well again in the Big Pink House, except for Pucky. At my house Mac and PC got some Fancy Feast Chicken which they eat fairly quickly, but I don’t think either eat it too fast. Not that I noticed yet at least.

Pingpong throws up every so often. If I don’t get it cleaned up fast enough, Sooti eats it.

I love Elvis’ rapid hand-to-mouth scarfing.♥ (A few months ago, one of my cats barely ate for several days because she had an injury that became infected and abscessed and then needed surgery. The vet said when she got home after the surgery, she would likely be VERY hungry and wolf down some food, which of course she might not be able to keep down. But she was such a little trooper through the whole thing. When she got home she gobbled up a bunch of kibble and then put herself to bed; didn’t throw up once and never touched her surgical incision or stitches, so she went cone-free the next day.)

Here comes a mixed message…

I also noticed Singing in the rain is going to be shown this yr too. The tix I saw were $15ish, but the closest theater to me is a couple of hrs away, which means a tank of gas plus the popcorn and Drinks. My initial reaction was heck yeah! But after counting the cost i may have to pass or make serious cuts elsewhere in the budget.

Also, so sorry to hear we’ve lost another legend, Sidney Poitier. Thank you for so many wonderful films. RIP

Hopefully The Woman &Man will have enough sense to hide the shoes , the phones,and put a ton of plastic down on the carpets, plus have lots of water handy. I don’t think the cats will be able to wait for hairball o’clock.

OT: Update on the topic of “whisker fatigue”

Thank you all for your comments on this topic! The experiment on my cat was that it made no difference to her, lol. But, after reading all of your comments, I decided to stick with the larger food and water bowls. It does seem to make her more mellow and happier now. Thank you all for your suggestions and comments!

OT (kinda): Zazzle mugs are 40% off today, if anyone has Xmas cash burning a hole in their pocket and not enough BCN mugs yet.

But Puck, I thought that was just a sure sign of a good meal.

My Buster must have read the strip…oh well, the kitchen floor needed a good cleaning!

I hope Georgia and the family are not located in the area of Washington State that is having such a problem with snow and flooding right now and that if they are in that area all are safe!

OT – Dante update

One could say they’re “hoovering” up the food, but any association of eating with the dreaded vacuum cleaner would likely kill their appetites…

Days of starving with no food to eat and suddenly there’s food to be had. No wonder Puck had problems. Not just eating too fast, no room in the tank after going that long without food.

Pace yourself Puck, get used to eating again. Let your stomach expand back to what it used to be before you make a pig of yourself.
