Tiff isnt good with even slight change. And she didnt really have to growing up. So it came out as being aloof and inconsiderate. Now she’s met more of ‘grown up problems’ and can adapt. But she still doesn’t want to get up early and exercise, and now she’s annoyed by a pet.

I just realized: Steffo is Evans’s Scrappy-Doo! He thought the script needed a cute new cheerleader character, but he goofed and just made her irritating!

OK. So Puds is a restless sleeper. Let him sleep with Stef! Bid deal!

I get that people really love their pets and all – heck, when I was a pet parent myself, my bunny practically like my flesh-and-bun daughter . . . well, okay, not really, but she was my furbaby. Even so, I don’t see how people can sleep with their pets, regardless of how much they love them. Matter of fact, I remember house and pet sitting for my aunt and uncle one weekend, and I was honestly relieved their weenie dog didn’t want to sleep with me.

Looks like we’re in for a long haul here. Maybe two or three more weeks of this. Disappointing

Puddles wants to go home

… unlike the rest of us, who are being tortured by this story arc.

And who takes (can’t just let) Puddles out for his morning dump? and who picks up afterwards?

End the arc this is just cruel to Puddles and Luann.

Puddles is experiencing some of his 15 minutes of fame.

Apparently, Tiff doesn’t recognize Puddles as Luann’s pet.

Well, the pooch IS very adaptable.

Getting married, having kids, and owning a pet all require the same things: 1) time; 2) commitment; and 3) a real desire to do any of these things.

I don’t think Tiff would look that bad after a night with Puddles.

So will she, now, want to give Puddles back, when they eventually find him?

Count your blessings Tiff, at least the bed is dry.

Looking at the third panel, hopefully Tiff does not stick her tongue out too far when she licks her dry lips in the middle of the night…

Now Tiffany says it’s Stefi’s turn tonight to snuggle with Puddles. (I am surprised she didn’t recognize Puddles. My guess is she hasn’t seen him for years. More likely she last saw him at Luann’s birthday party during their elementary years). Gunther, Puddles needs you, stat! Via Bets.

This is true. Research has proven that owners who sleep with pets on their beds get less rest per night. As someone who shares a bed with a cat and a chihuahua, all I can say to that is….is…….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz………

This story arc is wearing out

For crying, will they get the dog back home to Luann’s house where he belongs already ….?!?!??

I wonder how many weeks this arc is going to last. As someone wrote it is cruel to Luann. Pud probably is tired of his adventure and wants to go home.

Luann is no doubt used to it.

Maybe point of this story will be to introduce Luann to the women in the dorm so she can later move in. She should be finishing her two year associates degree so will be transferring to Muni.

Tiffany shoves Puddles into Stef’s hands.

At least he wasn’t a cat. Unless you like getting clawed while it tries to settle on a spot to sleep.

this arc has gone beyond irritating

Awww. Sure he did ♡, look at that happy face ♡♡♡! I’m sorry for Tiffany, but if the dog has chosen her, the only option she has is to get used to or seek for find his owner ASAP. So, it’s time for her to start looking… Go Tiffany! Reunite Puddles with Luann!

I think everyone is missing the point. Check out panel 3 and the resulting look on Tif’s face in panel 4. Puddles had some AM flatulence.

She could tell the pup had a good night by looking at Tiff.

I thought Tiff has been over to LuAnn’s house during the great lingerie bust on Anne Eiffel and would have seen Puddles.

We have three bed sleepers and one in the chair. They all love close contact, and I am familiar with Tiff’s point of view in panel three. Came in real handy in the Great Freeze here last year, though.

Why we never had the pets in our bedroom. Steff found him, Steff should care for him. He might chew that darn bow! ;-))

Wow, there is a lack of patience within the reader base. About 50% calling for this arc to end. Remember, they only found Pud yesterday in Luannaverse time. Also, no one has taken Pud for a walk. I guess dogs don’t poop in their world.

Everyone, remember the difference between real time and comic time. So many comments imply that many days have passed. In the comic, it’s been less than a day or even half a day. Puddles was brought to the dorm in late afternoon or evening. Now, one night has passed. So of course there was no possibility of taking him to the vet to be checked for a microchip. Also, dogs have good smell memory. Tif and the rest don’t remember Puddles from visiting Luann but Puddles might well remember their smell. Therefore he feels comfortable knowing these are people who were once in “his” home. He probably assumes Luann will walk in anytime now.

The General consensus of the Luann readers and posters is to end this arc.

Who is going to walk Puddles? he can’t be peeing and pooing in the dorm; need collar and leash and what about food and water? it’s been just a fraction of a day but these needs are there.

Okay, I’m more negative about this strip than anyone, but even I gotta admit that the artwork on Tiffany’s face in the last panel is friggin’ great. As a crappy sleeper I know how you feel, Tiff.

Tiffany hasn’t really said anything. Maybe she’s going to take care of Puddles’ morning needs then return him home to LuAnn. I know this is unlikely, but it would end this endless arc.

I recall a friend telling how excited she was as her b/f was about to sleep over for the first time. After nocturnal activities were concluded neither slept well as they weren’t used to sharing a bed….

There is now way … NO WAY Tiffany has not seen Puddles posted by Luann on social media, no matter how self-absorbed or limited attention she may have been or had.

Is this going somewhere….???

I suppose that this story arc will end just in time for us to see Luann talking about nothing significant on her bed, Puddles asleep beside her, and Bernice snarking on the floor.

As a lifetime dog owner, I just want Puddles back home, asap. I’d be freaking if my dog was missing.

a possible scenario: Tiff (or someone) carries Puds outside and sets him on the grass to pee. Puds spots Bern walking on her way to class, breaks away and runs to greet her.

I have a hard time buying Tif knowing Luann since high school and not knowing what her dog looks like.

The story lines in this comic are amazing. Great writing!!
