‘Early retirement’? For many, this means ‘death’. People who feel they don’t have a purpose in life tend to die early.

Good health, and just enough to cover expenses and a vacation.

Pig is not one to worry about the future seems like!

I’m not going to get that either. What’s a leftcover pizza? Leftrover? Left over? I’m pretty sure it’s a myth, like unicorns and mermaids.

This has been asked before I’m sure. What is up with Pastis and the name Bob? It can’t be from a lack of imagination, he has that in spades. Afraid of offending someone? Unlikely. Someone should give him the ‘Big Book ’o Baby Names’ for inspiration. (Not a real book, I think)

I have one thing on my list: Happiness

There is a lot to be said for reduced expectations.

No such thing as left over pizza at the Arbuckle house with Garfield around.

It’s easier to do nothing than to work for what you dream of….

I always though that Pig was retired.

‘Leftover’? What s this strange, unknown word? Is it something good??

Today is National Smile Day. PBS is always good for a smile. However, leftover pizza is really hard to get. It is exceptionally rare.

Five for five. All of those 70 hours weeks paid off.

As a goal, leftover pizza has the ancillary benefit of requiring pizza for dinner the night before.

Aim small, miss small.

One thing about Pig: he always reaches his goals.

Who eats pizza from the side like that?

Easier to achieve but you need the other things also, though not in such a grandiose way…..

…and a Government that doesn’t screw things up…..too late!

I continue to disbelieve some like it cold.

My hurdle is lower: “A” house, comfortable amount of money, a decent car (checkmark!), and the ability to someday retire. I get why folks want an early retirement, but after taking a month off (bereavement leave because my mom passed from cancer), I realized I can’t stand not doing anything and not feeling productive. I like my job and I don’t see myself leaving for quite some time.

Dang it! No leftover pizza in my fridge! Curse you!

To live in beauty. To engage my mind. To give with a free hand. And to do no harm.

It’s really all about setting realistic expectations…

Great! Eating leftover pizza while listening to Leftover Salmon…. Life is good!

Being able to afford enough pizza to have leftovers is a big deal.

Now how is he eating it?

I just strive for cheese, which I think is Pig’s weakness, as well.

It’s Tuesday, leftover tacos à volonté.

With lotsa lotsa fresh and melted Wisconsin mozzarella cheese!

The Catch in Pig’s hopeful striving is that, in order to have leftover pizza, you have to have bought or baked a pizza to begin with….

what is this thing “left-over pizza” of which you speak?
