Well, back with Junior again who kind of felt left out of this adventure. I don’t think Thorin has spoken to Junior since Moon Maid was killed, way back when. Thorin seems to be more family-focussed lately though. I think it would go well.

Tracy’s long story remark must have Junior busting to hear all about it. Naturally they would be coming back under cover of dark. I bet we’re in Wrist Wizard contact with Sam or Chief tomorrow.

Honeymoon should have said; “He will”.

I have a question…where is Honeymoon planning on wearing that outfit, now that she’s back home? It would raise some questions from her classmates, I would think.

and so finally, it’s back home where they all belong… nice to see Junior again… it APPEARS that possibly THIS is the end of the arc, with a setup for tomorrow and Saturday and then the next arc begins fully on Sunday…

Junior Tracy has been estranged from his father-in-law for a long time . I would have thought that with this crisis Thorin would have at least taken a moment to see him and tell Junior how proud he was of his granddaughter.

HONEY: Can’t tomorrow. I gotta break the news to Astro. It’s a shame that Moon Law requires that cousins marry. I really like Astro better…

JUNIOR: Uh, hello? I’m not Moon Maids cousin in case you haven’t noticed…

Gould made Moon Maid an iconic costume that reflected the era. Sexy content and more graphic violence were easier to get into the daily newspaper in the 60s. He would experiment with Tracy and Sam’s attire in the ‘70s, before returning to their classic looks. It makes sense that Mysta would wear her traditional body suit, as New Moon Valley is comfortably frigid for Lunarians, who have an extremely high tolerance for low temperatures. Only Tracy felt the need to bundle up.

Staton and now Pleger have given Mysta a variety of ensembles. I like the mix of fashions and costumes. Here are links to a few:

LZs in the remote wilderness are great for UFOs, which is what this space coupe would be to many people. It would seem like a long story that could be told as they drive back to civilization. It could be something that Tracy wants to wait until everyone else is together, including authorities and Diet Smith. No doubt it’s an issue if the lunarians pose a threat still. Who knows but that Ro-zone and his comrades manage to break free and want to take over the world again. It’s a contingency that will need to be planned for.

Looking at Tracy and Tess and Junior – do you think there’s a Fabulous Farkle thing that happened here?

Just thought I’d get around to pointing out A mistake from the latter Gould days.

At the end of the 1976 Pucker Puss story,Tracy was badly burned pulling Lizz and a cab driver out of a burning car.

He started out laid up in a FLORIDA hospital where the story took place

But when the Bolo/Gallstones record piracy story began,Tracy was suddenly in a hospital in his own city,without being “officially moved”!!

A calm conclusion—-and you can bet Moon Gov DID blame Junior.Hell,there was a time when he blamed him for everything including the price of eggs.

OFF TOPIC: Considering turning an unused TRACY story idea nicknamed ‘HITMAN FOR TRACY’ into a free-standing P.I. book, once I finish the one I’m tinkering with. Had some interesting angles (and NO YETI!!!!!).

Grandpa Thorin has a lot of work to do… carrying out purges that would make Stalin say “Dude, chill.”

By the way, I’m off from work tomorrow (and Saturday) and since I’ll be the only one home all day, it’s looking like the next chapter may be going up on my dick tracy message board…we’ll FINALLY find out who Deadeye’s target is, if he gets the shot in, and some aftermath and MAYBE an appearance by Mr Scratch, Hippo, Wingnut, Mayor Armstrong and God knows who else! And dont forget…Jerry King and Thunderchild are there too!

And so it goes. the returnees aren’t talking much (for now), and Junior is left hanging as to whether he will have an opportunity to smooth things over with Grandpa Thorin.
