Looks like a scary kitty with a friendly kitty leaping on the scary one. Wow….what a puzzle! Goldie had better hop to it to protect the kids ( and Elvis) .

“I spy, with my little eye…”. Is that who I think that is? Enter the pirate kitten….

The monsters are here. The kids are doomed.

So, are we pretending that’s not Lupin on top of Puck? Eeeek, monster!

I got here a bit early tonight so I hit the random button to take another trip down a rabbit hole. I was taken to late July 2019 when we first saw Goldie in a rain storm. And now tonight we are introduced to Iggy and Ora. Quite the coincidence, I think.

The babies arrive! Well baby and teenager judging by Georgia’s art for the two but when she said soon I didn’t expect “in a few weeks” soon! I’m so excited to see how these guys act on page and that their coming as a duo despite having some months between them. I’m so pumped. Also like the nice touch of Iggy’s one eye being noticable in his siloutte.

Oh, my! I wonder how long Goldie’s extremely relaxed posture with paws behind her head will last now that shrieking is going on!

The baby is gonna get TRAUMA. If these are Iggy and Ora Zella… :D I also hope a tiger or a big cat comes some time, just for a limited time.

I’m thinking the cat with two green eyes is Tommy attempting to rescue two cats. The single green eye is Iggy, and the two yellow eyes are Ora Zella.

Note: the Girl is baby-holding Elvis, so RSORTB for the sharp-eyed among us.

Objects in the window may be less terrifying than they appear.

And all of a sudden Baby Kitty Elvis turns into Sunflower Pouf Elvis.

Georgia is pushing the limits of what would be considered as dignified. I’m sure in real life Elvis wouldn’t shriek so shrill-ly! (Yay, the newbies! Or at least Lupin and one)

I only have FB so I don’t see the other accounts Georgia posts on, but this is very exciting!!

Even Beatrix’s pointy kitten tail is poofed now!

Oh no. I hope I am wrong, but that does not look like any of our usual ghost cats. It was a lot creepier when I thought Bea’s word balloon belonged to the monster cat. This should be the start of a fun Halloween adventure!

I had a feeling the “monster” storyline might be the intro for Iggy & Ora Zella, but was not expecting the first glimpse of them quite so soon!

My thought process while reading today’s strip: "Oh, I bet I know who the “monster” will be. How long will the suspense be drawn ou [sees 4th panel] AAAAH! OMC, IT’S REALLY THEM! THEY’RE HEE-EERE!

Well, based on the fan reporting here, it appears my initial guess that it was Tommy or Burt and Baba Mouse (the fangs) is right-out! : )

It sure looks like Tommy on top trying to get their attention.

Is that Tommy and someone or are we about to be introduced to two new kitties?

And are they really kitties or is that one living dead kitty and one Renfield kitty?

I have seen complaints from people who don’t like the changes in the comics in Lee Newspapers. One letter to the editor today said, “Of course, you did dump ones that had long outlived their welcome and really needed to go” and it went on to list a bunch of strips, ending with “and especially ‘Breaking Cat News’”.
