First she was rude to Tiff… Now she’s rude to Brad.

Luann is upset that her friend described her brother as a hunk. Luann has never viewed him as anything but a blob. To hear her call him a hunk blew her mind. Well, Toni married him, didn’t she, Luann. Clearly, she thinks he’s a hunk too.

Ortiz looks interested. Look at that cocked eyebrow and slight smile :)

Maybe Tara was referring to Brad’s hunky partner.

Now she gets to tell Tara that he is also a Married Hunk.

After the weird way Luann didn’t recognize him even though he was clearly visible to her I think Brad should be concerned. But he won’t be.

Will we be seeing “Beefcake Brad” this week? Not that I want to!

Spot diagnosis: Brad ain’t gettin’ any at home, and his raging hormones have been reduced to a whimper. He’s got T.J. and Shannon killing the mood, and he’s got Toni not ready to have a baby. So, now he sees Tara, all cleaned up and made up, and giving him the eye. Danger zone!

With three days left in this week where will this story go? I thought is that since this week has gone into the toilet we should finish the week with Shannon, the little cupcake baked by the devil!

Hello to Max. Last weeks we discussed “off the rails, engine rolling lnto the river, caboose to follow” this week looks like another train is coming.

Perhaps Tara was referring to the other guy. I did mention yesterday that Tara might have been doing that, and Luann thought she meant Brad.

Perception is sometimes twisted by reality.

Luann is right, a sibling can’t be handsome! But I hope she will introduce Brad to Tara, Tara could be a great firefighter. Also, Brad’s colleague seems interested in Luann, that could be a good story for the strip. About the story Luann is trying to write, let’s hope her annoying writer’s block is gone due to embarrassment.

I may be wrong. Maybe Tara seen Brad and used Luann to find out who he was for for herself. Still wished when Puddles was missing and Tiff brought him back to Luann. Tiff would’ve ask Luann to stay at the mansion with her. Throw in Jack or Ox its Three’s Company again.

Didn’t get much from today’s segment, unless Tara actually meant Brad’s partner.

Many are overthinking this. If this situation was on a tv sitcom, there’d be a laugh track.

Objectively, Luann would probably agree that Brad is a “hunk.” But, even approaching adulthood, (which seems far away with Luann,) stereotypically, sibling aren’t suppose to notice those things about each other

LOL that happened to me once! I was at a family reunion and I was sitting with my grandma. I pointed out this cute guy and asked who that was and she said it was my cousin! I was like Luann! Only, I was 12 at the time and it was my 1st time seeing the other side my my grandpa’s family.

Again G & K have Luann acting like a 13 year old. It’s not funny anymore.

Can’t you stay focused on anything for just a moment, more than 18 minutes? And by the way, the Fuse is a public place where people besides yourself come to eat, drink, socialize or work.

Aren’t they a little old for Luann to be treating Brad this way? He doesn’t live at home so he’s not even around to annoy her. This is 12 and 13 year old behavior, not college and above. I’d think they’d be more like friends now. I like Luann, but she remains very immature.

Dear Greg, just in case you didn’t know, but it is impossible for a reader to apply the same relationship that you portrayed for Luann and Greg in childhood, to the adults they are now. I’m getting way too much material to pick at from you lately.

Why are the firemen there? Kitchen inspection? Selling Firemen’s Ball tickets? Probably not a fire in the kitchen cause they would be carrying “apparatus”.

Luan is probably disappointed when Tara was encouraging her to flirt with the “hunk” who just walked in, only to find out it was her brother, and not even anyone she could set Tara up with since he is taken,

There was a time when my 21 year old stepson was watching his dressed up “little” sister receive a service award at a banquet and whispered to me, “My God, she’s beautiful!”

I’m starting to think that Tara is doing all this deliberately. She somehow found out how much TJ led Brad around by the nose back in the day (to the point of encouraging Brad to commit literal crimes), always leaving Brad stuck holding the bag, and wanted to see if she could pull off the same thing herself.

Tara might still see a hunk. But, I don’t understand Luann’s reaction to her brother’s presence. It seems she should’ve said, " Well, hey, Brad, what’re you doing here?"

This strip today, and yesterday, reminds me of something that I was a part of years ago: a few of my friends and I were hanging out, just talking, when one of the guys turned to another and said, ‘Hey, man, let me get your phone number!’ The other guy laughed and said, ‘Man, what do you want my phone number for?’ And the first guy said, ‘So I can call up your sister!’ Second guy asks, ‘What do you want to talk to my sister for’ And the first guy replied, ‘Man, your sister is fine!’ And the second guy said, ‘MY SISTER?!’ I think we laughed for about ten minutes straight after that!

Well we know one part is true.

Cue a 2 month series of Tara trying to break up Brad’s relationship so she can hook up with him interleaved with a series about the other firefighter trying to hook up with clueless Luann who doesn’t realize it until he has long given up.

Luann, IMO, was indeed rude to Tiff, and to Brad. She’s feeling pressured by the assumed “need” to be writing something, and that makes her grouchy, but that’s no excuse. As for Firefighter Ortiz, I’m not so sure he’s interested in Luann as an attractive female; he’s just wondering what Lunatic Lady is going to say or do next!
