The Fartman story is done and dead. There will be no sufficient conclusion.

Mike will be free to continue with his; “The many loves of Lee Ebony” saga!

Greetings and another abrupt ending!

So, I guess all of the dangling plot threads will continue to blow in the wind, leaving us here to wonder as many suspected. Dekko appears to have pulled off the ultimate “hit” on Paul with no consequence, Agent 99 has disappeared with the dangling plot threads, Krypto’s seemingly pre-mature attempt to kill Art is unexplained, Tracy’s invisible conversation with Sue Reel is unexplained, and now we get a rerun of a minute mystery! This story needs another month to finish! I need TWINKIES, DAG-NABBIT!!!

A reprint – If I wanted reprints, I’ll read Little Orphan Annie! :)

Good morning™, super hero rehashers !

This is so inappropriate. I get the impression it took Mr Mike longer to finish the story and so there would be a gap while he works out tying up the bits and without the rehash the Tracy page would be a blank, so better quick stick something in as a place marker while the remainder of the story is being assembled.

It a real mystery that who oh who vandalised this comic?

Never thought there’d be a Minit Mystery that I didn’t understand.

Best start to a Tracy strip in a long time. They should leave it this way.

Of COURSE its more Superman tie in—That’s been the one constant in the Dekko story.

This one is REAL mystery.

The weirdest thing is that the background in the next-to-last panel is finished and detailed.

WTH ?I refreshed my browser a couple of times and the cartoon didn’t improve…

Maybe something screwed up at Go Comics or they had enough of the “peanut gallery critics”…LOL !

What good is a Minit Mystery if I can’t see it?

I think it’s time to fully retire this strip.I can’t understand why it has gone so far downhill. These idiotic mini mysteries were never good the first time around. We really deserve a writer for a change.

I’m no artist, but I don’t think this page is finished.

There can only be two explanations for today’s strip AND THEY BOTH INVOLVE ME AND MIKE:

1- The Syndicate controlling Dick Tracy is throwing a test out there to see If I can produce an Alt Take that will be good enough to fire Mike AND HIRE ME AS THE NEW WRITER!

2- Mike ordered Shelley to leave the caption balloons blank in the hopes that I would try to fill them in on my laptop screen with one of my Alt Takes. Nice try Mike but it was too difficult to write within the caption space on a vertical surface (luckily).

I’ll share the news if the Syndicate contacts me but I’m pretty sure it must’ve just been Mike’s dastardly plan.

Another example of the creative desert of the Curtis mind. Now he can’t even use washed up characters, but has to repeat boring minit mysteries. Jeez, It’s too bad a new writer can’t be hired to at least bring something fresh

So Tracy got a call from a cop saying they needed help at the of “George Reeds” who played “Ultraman” on television. Who bears a striking resemblance to Kal-El.

Of course, George Reeves played Superman on television. And his actual death really was bizarre and mysterious. So I wonder if it’s going to be about that.

I had to go to the archive to see the dialogue for the reprint. I’ve read where the cause of death of George Reeves is being disputed in some circles.

This must have been found in Dekko’s fake gels.

This mysterious interruption of the waning Art arc is made intolerable by the technical screw-up at GC. Too bad they don’t have sufficient weekend staffing to notice and maybe even fix messes of this kind.

Why a Minit Mystery rerun at this point? Is there a point? Is Mike having RL issues, as some have speculated (though I have seen no evidence of this on that not-to-be-named social networking site)?
