We have more peeping out in Chicago. Must be better at Arlo’s than that.

My daffodils have been out for two weeks. I’m excited to see Spring ,too. Winter serms to last forever.

We had about 8 inches of snow last night. Bleah!

I wish it was warm enough around here for the spring peepers.

I saw buds on the trees; but then there was freeze. Can we have, can we have, spring, Spring, SPRING, PLEEASE!!!

Overnight Janis is 18 years younger. Wish we could all do that :(

It’ll hit 70F here today but the lil peepers likely froze last night at 23F.

To me, peep peep peep means spring chick season!

My husband planted Crocus all through the front lawn and I noticed they were up a couple days ago. then we got 5" of icy snow…

Where I live, it seems like winter is forever. We sometimes have snow in May. Winter is Mid November til mid May

It’s coming!

I hate spring. It means yard work.

My snowdrops have been up for TWO MONTHS! Even when it got down to -9 it didn’t bother them!

Heard peepers Friday night in Ohio and picked daffodils that morning.

my Daffodils bloomed and have died off already. All the trees have a slight green glow to the tops.

Daffodils were up two weeks ago and the plums were budding. One week ago we had a near-record snow storm and freeze.

I planted dozens of new bulbs. I’m afraid we didn’t get enough of a freeze for them to germinate.

The seasons where I live:

Almost winter, Winter, Still winter, Construction.

Some flowers got no sense a’tall.

Instead of a Geiger Counter, Janis has a built-in Bloom-o-meter.

Hope to see a bud in the next two weeks.

Signs of spring bring a spring to Janis’ steps!

When I lived in Maryland I loved hearing the spring peepers and seeing the crocus popping up.

Daffodils are Nature’s early warning of the coming arrival of Spring…..

Just YAY SPRING!

Well, at least my snow has melted. I figger in another two months or so, I will be able to go outdoors.

I have some Snowdrop flowers that appeared in the middle of February due to the warmer weather we had. They are still in bloom.

That first Crocus or Daffodil works wonders. Even makes the birds sound better.

Way back about last Sept the NWS long range forecast for Oklahoma said that the winter of 22-23 was going to be warmer. It was.

Factoid; the Dec, Jan Feb tornado record for Oklahoma of 7 was set in 2010. Until now. Oklahoma set a new tornado record for the winter months of Dec, Jan, Feb with a grand total of 23.

I seem to be the only one who is drawing a blank with this. Could someone please explain this ‘peep’ phenomenon?

Summer lasts forever where I live. So it is nice to get cold a little bit.

We’re two months away from that.

I saw the first robins of the season this morning in northern Indiana. I always considered them the first sign of spring.

No peeps here yet, but herons are nesting, robins and red-winged blackbirds are back, swans are starting to build their nests, and cranes are all back in their territories.

The spring peepers have been peepin’ up a storm here ( north east Maryland) for over 2 weeks! Seems like it’s earlier and earlier…
