But that was after Tiff made a play for Gunther’s attention and she was shot down for Bernice. Besides, he made it a point to crash in Bernice’s room too.

That 2017 dorm episode with Piro is soooo messed up and confusing. There’s no way we can take anything from it into today!

I think Tiff knows more about Piro’s backstory than LuAnn does.

All the girls want Piro. It turns that carving a star in your head and wearing heavy clothes when it is hot outside turns the girls on.

SO nice to see two former frenemies/nemeses having a calm and adult conversation. Tiff sure has come a long way since that vapid, svelte, bratty version of herself. Of course, we still see glimpses of that girl – I don’t think we completely abandon our teen selves or outgrow some traits.

It’s nice to see Luann giving the snark and not getting it. Dez hath charms to make the sullen beast to smile. I’d still like to see someone (Luann?) to stroll around the Fair and see what other booths (or people) are there.

Dez looks so happy to see her old friend Piro, he probably stopped talking to her too. It’s nice to see how Luann and Tiffany are now able to talk to each other like two good friends, even with the ironic punchline. Luann can’t know that Tiffany isn’t happy remembering a time when she had a huge crush on Gunther and wanted to help him with Bernice. She seems to have regrets. I think Tiffany wants to suggest Luann to not have regrets and really understand if this is a date or not.

Meanwhile Kip breaks up with pom-pom girl at the fair because he’s just done and because he thinks she won’t make a scene in public.

I like the way Tiff has developed as a character over the years. She’s a lot more relatable and likeable now. I hope G+K have good things in store for her.

Funny how Tiff uses the same language as Bern. Problems? it strikes me that Piro just wasn’t interested (romantically) in Tiff (tho she tried to come onto him). He just needed a place to stay.

By the slight smile on Piro’s face as Dez interacts it is clear that Piro just wants friendship, caring and the warmth that comes from that. He doesn’t want ‘dating’ per se.

I think Piro might be asexual. Either that, or you two just aren’t his type.

Luann shouldn’t exactly be snarking on Tiffany for having problems given how Tiff’s (mostly) faced her problems with more maturity than we usually see from Luann. I also wish Luann wasn’t so single-minded about seeing Piro as her dreamy, troubled, brooding future-boyfriend. So far, Piro seems to be a soft-spoken, introspective, and thoughtful guy; he deserves better than just being fawned over by Luann who sees his baggage as an enticing bonus… despite Tara and the other girls strongly hinting to Luann that she’s not empathetic and thoughtful enough to be a girlfriend to someone with depression and abandonment issues.

OK people? NOW do you get that Tiff calling him “Pedro” was a joke ???

I am still confused about the Tiffany/Piro interractions. She admits (with a sad face) that them dating didn’t work out due to “too many problems”. That suggests they got to know each other, maybe got intimate, maybe not, but they did know each other. He stayed in her room, she held his belongings, she had his phone number, and she covered for him when the dorm was inspected…..yet when they meet again (not that much later) she calls him PEDRO and acts like they were only casually acquainted. Was it an insult intended to make him feel like he is forgettable?

The conversation here does not flow. It seems that for once, Greg is trying to cram in more than one tiny tidbit of information.

October 8, 2014 Piro, Viper and others showed up in Bernice’s and Dez’s dorm room, before Bernice met Dez. So, yes Dez knew Piro. Seems Luann is being a bit protective of Piro? I can’t find it, but I’m sure one time Tiffany called Piro Pedro.

So Luann has the snark down here, a snark that is based on Luann’s assumption that Tiff and Walt/Piro "problems’ were ALL Tiff’s. That was not true and us devoted followers, from true believers to “know true believer trolls,” know that Tiff was intrigued, but the mystery man was a bit much for her to seriously consider. Luann is “fixin” to fall for Walt/Piro like the asteroid that took out the dinosaurs 65 million years past. Or not.

Funny how females who can’t a date to save their lives, try to throw shade at someone who’s in the same boat. Because lets face it, the only ones whose really gotten some action, as far as comics goes, has been Gunther and Bernice. Hell, Gunther and Bernice made out back in the day.

Not sure Luann even knows how her comment comes off. Luann can be pretty dense sometimes.

Tee-hee. I have a hard time thinking that Luann would be gratuitously mean, even though Tiffany is a trial, so probably that was just another well-meaning remark that didn’t come out right.

So…. Tiff still apparently has some regrets about not capturing Piro’s romantic interest, eh? I suspect those regrets are likely the real reason she called him “Pedro” earlier…. her way of “acting” like the past encounter was meaningless fluff to her.

Regarding the tea…. we cannot really tell if Piro/Luann bought it or not. It does not appear that if they have it that they have drank any tea…. not even a sample cup….. because there is no immediate “hocus-pocus” feelings of amour occurring due to the magical finger-wiggling Dez “honestly” did over the whole batch.

So, I am hopeful that with Luann and Piro here, we MAY be getting to hear at least a few snippets of each of their writings this week! That should be a lot of fun.

Luann. lately is displaying a great deal more “snarkiness per unit time” than is her norm. It feels a bit “odd” to have this much of it from her.

Piro is smiling and he does need a healing person in his life. Let’s see what happens…

I’m aware that Tiff is looking at Dez and Piro out of the corner of her eye as she refers to “problems”; the problem is that Piro is responding and enjoying the company of other people. I think that deep down Tiff hasn’t gotten over the rejection Piro handed her in the hallway of the Mooney dorm when she tried to put her glamorous charms on him and it didn’t work.
