Sort of hard to believe that he wouldn’t ALREADY have the top of the line security system installed at his mansion, where his only daughter stays ..all alone.

I don’t see FIJI happening. I still think it’s ridiculous that Tiff wouldn’t just tell her father that one of the upstairs windows was broken and she had it replaced.

Tom it’s time for you to spend some quality time with your daughter. I’m starting to think you are not living up to responsibility as her dad and you are being neglectful as a parent.

All this because Tiffany won’t tell her dad she had a broken window. This arc is a stretch even for Tiffany.

According to the strip, Tiffany Farrell is a 19 year old adult with daddy issues. She is studying business so she not need her father’s subsidies. Instead ,Tiffany should work on her entrepreneurship and not use it for a trip.

Curious that a man who is never home doesn’t already have a state-of-the-art security system.

At this point it would be probably be easier and cheaper to invite Bets along for a week in Fiji then trying to get her father there.

I’m beginning to think that “Tom Ferrell” does not exist. He has been replaced with ai which is why we only ever see him video chatting with Tiffany.

“Breaking up”, my @$$!! Tiff should know by now that NOTHING will interfere with Daddy Warbucks career!!

This reminds me of something from my new book, “The Best of Dear Abby”. It is a column written by Abby called “TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR HUSBANDS”. #3 three reads “Permit neither thy business nor thy hobby to make thee a stranger to thy children, for the most precious gift a man giveth his family is his time.”

We don’t know if there was an actual break in at the Farrell Mansion since the hole in the upstairs window was small. Could very well be an accidental flying object. Burglars tend to break into houses from ground level. Nonetheless, it’s never a bad idea to increase security.

Let’s see if Tiffany will be able to spend the vacation of her dreams with her father like last year. I’m always afraid Tom will be too busy for her, or maybe he might want to stay home to see the security system being installed. I wouldn’t mind if Tiffany ends up going to Fiji with her good friend Bets, or with Dez.

Connection not breaking up. Fiji just ain’t gonna happen.

Good Lord. Not telling him about the break-in is bad enough but lying to him about it is even worse. Does she honestly think he won’t find out about it? After the fiasco when she rented out the house as a storage facility and didn’t tell him, you’d think she’d know better.

Apparently Tiff has not Yahooed “Tourist Dangers of Fiji”. Two of the Top Five are Assault and Sexual Assault with women being warned not to be out alone. Come to think of it, it is that way in many American cities, too, but… The Count digresses. Anyway, how about a Countromise… a compromise suggested by our Beloved Sage, Yrs Trly, The Count. How about spending the summer in Chez Daddy with… of course, our Beloved Heroine… Ann❤️Eiffel? What could go wrong, eh? Oodles of fun… you can Count on it. And just think of the education Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel could give Tiff. We ❤️Ann Eiffel. Ann❤️Eiffel… The Woman all men want (esp Tiff’s dad) and all women want to be like (ie Tiff, Hawt Steph, Betts the Bae, and Toni… esp Toni). TTFN, Count fans. ’Til tomorrow. Count Out.

This has gotten really stupid, but I’m sure they can keep making Fiji speech errors for two more days. Maybe Tom will arrange for them to go see the BeeGees…and afterwards go to eat something cheesy….with his new girlfriend Gigi.

Tom is willing to pay to have a new alarm system put in, but is oblivious to his daughter wanting to spend time with him, away from that “secure” manse? For a supposed “smart” business man, he is so dumb about personal things, I mean, Anne Effiel, and, now this.

The squeegee will be delivered tomorrow.

I really doubt that she will go to Fiji, but frankly this strip could use a change of scenery, and an interesting story line.

Tom Farrell, a well off, single father with an appetite for attractive women, does not need a huge mansion. A luxury, guarded apartment in a high class neighborhood is the way to go.

Tiffany = Large, brass balls.

So, she lies outright to him. By the way, and I hate to but will bring this up, but it’s important to do so; those here who wanted Bets "to mind her own business, or was saying she had some kind of angle, what now? When confronted, innocently by her trusting father, with the falsity about the break-in in the manse, lying to his Skyped face, and lies further trying to get him to spring for an expensive, but temporary trip to Fiji. Was Bets on the right track to be concerned about her friend?

Come on Tiff, your home wasn’t broken INTO. An upstairs window was shattered and Ox broke the front door to rescue you, that doesn’t count.

Looks like another pointless arc!

Tom probably wants to sign off. Maybe the only way Tiff can keep him on is to be honest about what happened.

Really? Connection breaking up? There goes Fiji. I hope this new system doesn’t rely on Tiffany’s activating it. Wonder if Tom will be able to see what’s happening in the mansion. Will we have another character, the installer? This could be creepy or fun.

Uh oh. She has just morphed from a sin of omission to a sin of commission!

Personally, I think her dad is “humoring her”. The busted door, the police report, the repaired window. Do you think TIFFANY paid for those?? Maybe dad has an account for the house, but ultimately HE pays the bills (right?). He must know about the major repairs already.

When people were developing the sidewinder missile, they put the basic works in control of a piece of pipe made to look much like a 50 caliber machine gun barrel. People coming into the engineers’ room with a lit cigarette were met with what looked decidedly like disapproving deadly firepower. I suspect it improved the air quality.

Something similar mounted to the mansion would be fun. Especially if the proper sound effects were included.

I know, they go to Fiji (where Tiffany feels safe) and then on Saturday we see them coming home – her in a wheelchair with a broken leg and nice fat lip (having tripped and fallen while running and looking at her phone). Maybe time to see the optometrist?

It is sooooo frustrating that the Evans continue to be horribly inconsistent with Tiffany (technically, most of the characters). Either have her be completely clueless and immature or have her actually learn from her bad behavior. But no, she’ll just keep flip-flopping, as needed. This arc is incredibly dumb, with so many flaws in it.

Why are you keeping the break in from your dad Tiff?

I’m still confused. Why can’t Tif tell her Father that a window was broken (by someone else) or that the house got broken into (when he’s actually talking about burglaries in the area)? Is she somehow responsible?

What Tom doesn’t realize is that new “top of the line” security system isn’t going to be worth a dime if the person in the house doesn’t have the mental where-with-all to turn it on.

Tiffany is afraid that mentioning the break-in would mean being reminded of the were-manse idea. And she does not want to be reminded of that.

Nice try kid.

Tiffany is a whiny poor little rich girl with Daddy issues. Since her stories all seem to revolve around her painful to watch sucking up to father, I suggest that the strip might well do better if they killed off Daddy Ferrell and focus on Tiffany having to confront the world on her own, without having to defer to Daddy or be protected by him.

Something to think about, the waremanse happened at the end of the school year. Tiffany’s fall happened at the start of the new school year and now we are at then end of another school as Tiffany wonder’s where she’ll live for the next three months. In all that time Tom Ferrell has been overseas digging up business. What kind of business that might be is unknown but in todaay’s internet connected world I can’t help but wonder how much of it could be done WFH? Or maybe there’s a reason why Tom won;t or can’t return home… like a second family, maybe a nice Korean girl heavy with their first child. Since Tom is such a drag on their series I think the writers ought to think about jettisoning him along with Knute, Crystal and Delta.

Just wait, her Dad will come home and go to his room and find all his valuables are missing. Tiffany is just ditsy enough to have only checked her personal possessions. Then the burglary and coverup will come out, and the insurance company will throw a fit because of the delay in reporting the crime.

I don’t know already who’s being the kidder here: Tiffany’s father or Tom’s daughter.

A new, top-of-the-line security system would be a Good Thing for you to have at the manor, Tiffany,

And, then, no need for a trip to Fiji, which has both Daddy Tom and you feigning “breaking up” to avoid having to deal with that idea….

As a wise book has advised: DON’T PANIC!
