I’ve read that dentists have the highest suicide rate in the professions. I guess that’s because they are always down in the mouth!! (I’ve been trying to use this for ages, LOL!)
Pig has a point…. In reality, I think anyone that has to serve the healthy public (restaurants, lodging, retail, etc) has one of the toughest vocations.
Big-city trash collector. Heavy lifting all the day, no respect from the people they serve, and an amazingly high rate of death on the job from being run over by drivers who are impatient with the truck blocking the street and try to zoom by without noticing the collectors carrying the trash cans…
Law enforcement IS far from being “the most dangerous job”, unless you figure in the odds of getting diabetes from all the sugared doughnuts they consume (and that would be life threatening, INSTEAD of dangerous), other than that, their main ‘job’ is generating revenue, and harassing, intimidating, and terrorizing law abiding citizens, for their own “entertainment”.
Not me. I was raised in one. I lived in, well in an apartment above one, for the first 17.5 years of my life. My dad was the undertaker for a small town in NW Missouri. I would occasionally keep my dad company while he was embalming a non-repeat customer.
