Bernice gets an invite over Luann. I’m shocked, I thought Tiffany had grown.

Could the hoped for detente between Luann and Tiffany be farther off than we had thought? Or does Tiffany now see Luann as a threat to her Kip aspirations? A clear reversal of roles from the past!?

There have been so many recent theme/subject changes, it is difficult to know when this arc began. In fact, today may be the start of this arc.

Now that’s something the “old” Tiff would do.

And there’s a perfectly good reason WHY Tiff wouldn’t invite Luann for which long time fans will pick up on RIGHT Away.

Here’s two hints: Aaron Hill and ESPECIALLY Quill.

Every just about guy that Tiffany has had an interest in, Luann has managed to spirit way. So the way to avoid _THAT happening with Kip is to not invite Luann to the party.

Although I suspect that like Stef, Luann will show up anyway.

Along with a host of other “uninvited guests.” ;-)

I really hope Tiffany invites Luann. Because otherwise that means she don’t want to have other single girls at her party pretty enough to distract Kip from seeing only her. Besides, having Bernice without a Luann around her, able to block her when she talks too much, could be extremely dangerous! I love the idea of a pool party! Who knows who the other guests will be? Maybe it could be an opportunity to see Knute and Crystal again, to have Gunther, Les and Bets. To see if Jack was friends with Ox and Kip and if maybe they miss him on the team.

Tiffany doesn’t have enough friends to snub Luann. Makes me wonder if she doesn’t want anyone who might attract kip away from her.

Party is only for Moony Unies.

Since when is Bern a closer “friend” of Tiff’s than Luann?!

At least they’re not making snide remarks about how Tiff looks in a bikini. Some trufans actually think she’s overweight!

Tiffany must be on crack if she thinks Bernice is better company to have at a party than Luann. I do wish Luann and Tiff would become better friends.

Why is it that Luann thinks Her and Bernice are a package deal? Bernice can make up her own mind if she wants to attend the party with or without Luann, regardless if Luann gets invited or not.

Anyone taking bets on if we readers actually get to see this pool party for ourselves? Because I’m guessing we don’t. But maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

I’m glad Bernice corrected Luann and made it clear she is going to decide for herself if she’s going to the party. That was really rude of Luann to assume Bernice wouldn’t go without her.

Tiffany is definitely the type who would misuse YOUR instead of YOU’RE in her invitation. Most young people do not seem to know the correct use of YOU’RE. Bernice would know the correct usage, but that is about her only redeeming quality.

That is a sign of Luann’s logic……

More than likely, Luann wasn’t invited because Tiffany sees her as a potential rival and a pain in the neck.

Tiff and Luann have always had an adversarial/competitive relationship over guys and clearly none of this has changed. Tiff spilled the beans to Luann about Kip staying at her place while Steffie is gone; the last thing she wants is cute “innocent” Luann interfering with her conquest.

This is actually typical, in my experience. When people pour their hearts out to me telling me all of their woes, many contrived, I am often immediatley delegated the scapegoat role; smack em on the butt and send them off into the wilderness to fend for themselves.

That’s a reasonable choice Luann.

I hate when ppl “HAVE” to invite anyone to their party. It’s a trend that really should be laid to rest. Luann should swallow her pride and learn to become someone people want to invite. Honestly she has been portrayed as a rather doltist loser for quite a while. Time for Luann to get a life.

Ha! If this really is Tiff’s stiffing of Luann, I say, well played!
