I’m thinking the reason that gurny is so flat is that they are still on their way to collect her body. That’s the only reason I can think of

I must disagree with Tracy….it was mostly madness, the arrogance was just a minor character flaw of an insane killer.

Shades of the end of King Kong, both in the fall and the epitaph (Madness? No, it was arrogance that killed the beast!).

So, she loved rare books, to the point where she would murder to get them, even though she lived in a gigantic mansion and appears to have the wherewithal to just, you know, buy rare books from their owners… Did she just get a letter one day, “Congratulations! You’ve been chosen to be a ‘Dick Tracy Villain!’ You have two hours to come up with a scheme that will confound ol’ Dick for months! Good luck and try not to die!”

Anyway. after many harrowing incidents, he’s tripped up when: A) the MCU coffee gets very GOOD.

B) The evidence room is suddenly overflowing with un-filched items.

No, I’m pretty sure what brought her here was a combination of poor choices in footwear, gravity, and the OSCA railing system.

Where is the case she had and what was in it? Did EMS tend to Tracy’s wrist? Would be a stretch to buy into “the glancing blow” theory.

If there’s more to this tomorrow, I like to think of it as Tracy & Sam dictating their “paperwork” into Diet Smith’s new computer. How often do we see Tracy & Sam actually*DO* paperwork?

I do not know. But I suspect Owen’s evaluation is closer to the truth than Tracy’s, since Xaviera’s very real arrogance can be viewed as a diagnostic symptom of her madness.

Apparently (from what Eric said yesterday), the remainder of this week will be wrap-up and tying off loose threads, so that the next New Story should begin on next Sunday….
