Hmm….Sometimes I wonder if my wife feels like she could have done better but then whenever I walk by her and I hear her mutter just under her breath, “What an a$$,” I feel so much better that she’s still attracted to me! Life is good!
In the old days, before the internet, there would have been a run on tape at the local office supply store as people cut this out of the newspaper and taped it on refrigerators.
My wife told me once that “you drive me crazy”, my response was “must be a sort dive”, that didn’t go over too well, it was over 50 years ago, I have never repeated that statement to her since.
After a small disagreement Mrs asked me if I still loved her. I told her of course! Sometimes I may get irritated with you, but I always love you! I know she feels the same about me…
Been married 39 years and yes we drive each other nuts but we are also the best of friends. We joke a lot, hold hands a lot, kiss a lot, and on occasion get mad at each other. We learned to us the sofa method for settling arguments. 1 – walk away from each other till you have cooled down, 2 – each person sit at opposite ends of the sofa and just start talking, don’t mention the argument, 3 – discuss the argument, 4 – make out.

We really drove each other crazy. So crazy we suddenly decided to get married. And we continued to drive each other crazy for 36 years.
